A curriculum specialist is a professional who specializes in curriculum.

A curricularist is
someone who knows, writes, plans, implements, evaluates, innovates, and initiates curriculum. A
teacher's role is larger and includes other duties, hence a teacher is a curricularist. A teacher
plays a vital role in the education. Curriculum is one of the most important learning development
for pupils in school. It is regarded as the “heart” of any educational institution, implying that
schools cannot survive without one.

A curricularist is also a teacher. It is critical for a teacher to understand her or his function
as a curricularist. Teacher must be well-versed in all subjects in order to devise an effective
lesson plan and provide relevant learning to his or her students. One is that he or she should have
a thorough understanding of the curriculum. For curriculum creation and execution, it is critical
for a teacher to be an expert and master. As a curricularist, it's critical to be aware of and
attentive to hidden curriculum because it can have a significant impact on a learner's behavior. A
teacher must be aware of and sensitive to this in order to be prepared in this situation and to
discover strategies to deal with this type of element that may have an impact on their pupils'
learning.
Being a curricularist in K+12 education is a huge and vital job. In order to pique the
interest of students, suit their requirements, and be a more effective and efficient teacher in this
generation, a teacher must innovate the curriculum. A teacher must have a variety of ways to set
the mood of the students, as well as more interactions between the teacher and the pupils.
Because some teachers lack experience, knowledge, and skills, particularly in terms of
technology, the teacher as an innovator is no longer commonly portrayed by teachers. To provide
themselves and their pupils a competitive advantage, teachers must stay up to date on all current
technology. As a result, teachers must participate in several trainings and workshops in order to
improve their teaching methods and avoid becoming stagnant teachers who stick to outdated
methods. This means that instructors should improve and grow in various areas because they are
an important element of the teaching and learning process.

To summarize, as a teacher in the near future, I will need to pay more attention to the
growth of my students, because as teachers, we must first consider our students before preparing
our classes. We must be aware that there is a diversity of learners in a single classroom, so we
must always consider that the lesson that we prepare and implement should cater to all of the
learners' different learning needs so that we can achieve our daily objectives and impart
meaningful learning that reflects on their real-life situation. As a potential teacher in the next
generation, I believe that curricularists play an important role in our society, particularly in the
field of education. As a curricularist, I see this role as extremely well-organized and accountable.
Being a curricularist necessitates rigor and providing undivided attention to all elements. As a
result, I believe that eventually, as curriculum specialists, we future teachers will need to be able
to do all of the responsibilities of a curricularist in order to deliver the greatest possible
education.
