Earth and Life Science Q1-M4: Rocks: Pablo Lorenzo National High School

This document provides information about different types of rocks and their classifications. It discusses the differences between igneous rocks like extrusive (volcanic) and intrusive (plutonic) rocks, and between felsic and mafic igneous rocks. It also describes the differences between sedimentary rocks like clastic, chemical and organic rocks. Finally, it discusses regional and contact metamorphic rocks, and foliated and non-foliated metamorphic rocks. Students are tasked to determine the type and classification of different rock samples based on their descriptions. They also need to collect rock samples, describe their characteristics, and classify them.
