    We wish you a merry Christmas !


    We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year !

    That was the last song I heard on Christmas.

    I was so excited for Christmas eve, the gifts, the foods


    and of course having a complete family on Christmas is such a blessing.

    Then suddenly knock ! knock ! Open the door ! Then bang !


    There were 5 armed men entering our house,
    they were shouting for money and key of dad’s car.

    What should I do ? I’m just a 10 year old kid.

    I was hiding behind my mother,


    I was so afraid to move, tears keep flowing from my eyes.

    Mother and father plead them to leave, to get whatever they want,
    their evil laughs echoed, our house was filled with terror.

    They grabbed mom’s wrist, she was crying, dad was shouting, I was screaming.

    Dad grabbed the gun from one them,


    he was fast, but the bad guys were faster. Bang ! Bang !

    NOOO ! Silence. Mom and Dad fell, blood oozing from their chest.

    What happened ? What happened ? Mom ? Dad ? Wake up.

    Mom ? Dad ? Please wake up. Please don’t leave me. Mom ! Dad !

    (silence)

    A gift ? Mom ? Dad ?

    You’re here ! It was all just a bad dream !

    Merry Christmas Mom, Merry Christmas Dad
