Hi Rahim!
How are you? It was so exciting to read your e-mail about your vacation to the National Park. I
almost cannot believe that you had to hike a long way just to reach your holiday cabin. It must
be wonderful enjoying the beautiful scenery and fresh air!
As for me, I spent my holidays visiting Pulau Langkawi with my family. We went there by plane
and stayed on the island for three nights. The island has many interesting places to visit. We
went to a few tourist attractions such as Mahsuri’s tomb, the Field of Burnt Rice and the
legendary Seven Wells. We also had delicious seafood and the people there are so friendly. I
remember one guide who told us the legend of Mahsuri, and there was even a play being held
in one of the theatres. I’ll tell you all about Mahsuri’s story in my next e-mail.
I have to go now. My father needs to use the computer. Hope to hear from you soon!

Dictation
Last Sunday, Encik Kamal and his family went to visit the KL Tower. They took an
express elevator to the Observation Deck. They could see the entire city of Kuala
Lumpur from the Observation Deck. The view was breathtaking.
Then Encik Kamal and his family went to the Bukit Nanas Forest Recreational Park. The
park was well equipped with jogging track and circuit training equipment. They walked
along the jungle track called the Jelutong Trail. They saw many animals such as
monkey, squirrels and birds. There were also many colourful butterflies.
After the walk, they went to a playground in the park. They had lunch there and rested
for a while. Then the children helped their parents pack their things before they went
home.
