Since this course includes a brief study of art history and a detailed
study of the elements, media, and techniques used in creative processes
and thinking, I look forward to being able to understand the processes and materials involved in art creation at the end of the semester and to interact effectively with others to understand and appreciate the variety of responses that art provokes. I want to explore and learn a lot, to learn how to appreciate art more, and be more unique and creative because the more you appreciate and understand the art of various periods, movements, styles and techniques, the more your own artwork can be created, evaluated and enhanced. Personally, I really do not like art as much, and I do not even know anything about it, so I'd like to improve my skills on this subject though too. I will make sure that I will do my part as a student in order to accomplish my objectives. Most people might think that this topic is not relevant because it only includes "art," but no. It's still important. It is important to be able to envision and construct something that involves your own ideas and concepts. In fact, many individuals are competitive and will continue to evolve and produce things that are far more interesting than yours, but here you will learn to be more imaginative and unique, preparing you for the real world. While this subject is helpful, there are still a lot of things that will be challenging for me to accomplish or do. My art skills are extremely terrible, so I'm going to have a tough time painting, drawing, and anything art- related. I will not, however, let this affect me. I'm going to encourage myself to do better and I'm not going to let this weigh me down. Every meeting, I will make sure I learn something new and make sure I apply them in my daily life. I expect that my goals will be achieved at the end of the semester now that I have mentioned my expectations for this subject, and I also hope that I will just enjoy everything I do in this field.
