    MID-TERM FOR SPEAKING TEST 2


    You are taking the mid-term oral test for Speaking 6. You will totally have to record your
    speaking test for 2 minutes.
    First, you will have 30 seconds to introduce yourself using the following script
    - Good morning/afternoon. - My full name is … .
    –I was born on… (the candidate’s date of birth) - My student ID is …. .
    Now, let’s do the first part of the test.
    Task 1: General Introduction (30 seconds)
    You are suggested to spend maximum 30 seconds for each question to talk about the
    following topic. You are supposed to extend the answer with adequate information. You can
    choose one of two topics to make your general introduction.
    CLOTHES
    1.What kind of clothes do you often wear to school?
    Uniform is the best type of clothes when I go to school because it strengthens the sense
    of belongings. Besides, the uniform also makes it easier for people to identify students
    and which school they are from.
    2. Do prefer wearing formal or casual clothes? Why?
    I love casual types because they’re comfortable, not too ordinary or too ceremonial
    and for me they can never be out of style. I like that kind of style because it’s suitable
    for everyday use like for a walk, for casual social gatherings or activities, for
    shopping, and more. It’s simple yet pleasing to the eye and very comfortable.
    TRANSPORT
    1.How do you get to university?
    2.What is your favorite transport?

    Task 2: Individual long-run (1 minute)


    Use your 1 minute to talk about the following topic
    EXPLORATION Describe one of your most unforgettable trip in your life
    You should say :
    What is the most unforgettable trip?
    Why you remember it?
    Where did you go?
    When did you go?
    Who did you go with?
    What were the special things you remember in that trip?
    A few years ago I was lucky enough to travel to Phu Quoc Island with some friends.

    We stayed in Grand Hotel and while we were there we also travelled to Vinpearl Safari Phu
    Quoc and some of the other well-known theme parks nearby.

    We spent the summer holidays there and it was really hot and humid, but thankfully we
    missed the hurricane season which can sometimes be quite scary.

    I went with my best friend and her younger brother and his best friend. It was a long trip
    getting there but we stayed for more than a month so it was worth it.

    We rented a house in a condominium complex, which was really nice because it was close
    to the coast and all the amenities but quiet and peaceful at the same time.

    We also rented a car because you really need a car to get around on a daily basis and also to
    drive to the theme parks.

    We did most of the normal touristy activities in and around Phu Quoc and also spent some
    nice time just driving and visiting some of the local places and sights, and swimming in the
    pool in the complex.

    The thing I most enjoyed was the food – really – it was great to go out and have a big
    breakfast at a diner every day and it only cost a few dollars.

    My favorite was the pancakes with maple syrup which I enjoyed several times a week
    while we were staying there.

    The weather was great too, although some days were extremely hot around the middle of
    the day, but inside it was cool because everyone has air conditioning.

    It’s a trip I’ll always remember because it was different from other trips – because of the
    people, the place, and it was also longer than most other trips I’ve taken.

    That was the most interesting trip I took recently.

    Learner have to record your speaking and send it to the teacher, in order to get mid-term test..
    NOTE: Don't copy the content of the other's speaking test. If you break this rule, you
    will get zero for the mid-term test.
