    Text aids, also called text features, are visual elements on a page that stand out from the main
    text.  Text features can be found in textbooks, magazine articles, newspapers, reports, web
    pages, and other forms of nonfiction text.

    It helps students understand and comprehend any story, subject, or topic. They give emphasis
    on what should be focused on. What is the importance of textual aids or what is the importance
    of using textual aids? Important words are sometimes written in bold to catch the attention of
    the reader.

    This instructable explains the basic steps seismologists undertake to locate the epicenter of an
    earthquake:

    Measure the time that elapses between the arrival of the P (primary) wave and the arrival of
    the S (secondary) wave to the seismic stations.

    Using the S-P time, determine the epicentral distance of each station to the earthquake using a
    travel time curve.

    Use a map and graphical compass to draw arcs of radii equal to the epicentral distances around
    each station. Where these arcs overlap, you may approximate your epicenter.

    Scientists use triangulation to find the epicenter of an earthquake. When seismic data is
    collected from at least three different locations, it can be used to determine the epicenter by
    where it intersects. ... Each seismograph records the times when the first (P waves) and second
    (S waves) seismic waves arrive.

    Epicentre is the point on the earth's surface directly above the earthquake origin (hypocentre).
    So it is the shortest distance for the earthquake vibration to reach the earth and the maximum
    vibration will be felt in the epicnetral region.

    Thus a knowledge of epicentre will help in assessing the damage zone where death and
    destruction will be maximum, we can rush the support and plan disaster relief accordingly. If
    the epicentre is in the inhabited region, loss to human life is the least or may not be there at all
    (no doubt the spread of surface waves from epicentral region to other parts too will induce
    damage). Secondly if the epicentre is in the sea an imminent tsunami warning can be issued.
    This is withdrawn later when the associated mechanism is found other than dip slip movement.
    Knowledge of epicentre and depth helps in analysing the residual sesimicity of the area.

    Thus knowing epicentre is the first step in planning post-earthquake rehabilitation and relief
    measures, in forewarning of tsunami-related hazard and in assuring of minimum loss to life and
    property if it is the deserted or inhabited region. In fact three parameters - epicentre, depth
    and magnitude are essential and crucial for/ in assessing earthquake hazard - both present and
    future.

    An arithmetic sequence is a list of numbers with a definite pattern. If you take any number in
    the sequence then subtract it by the previous one, and the result is always the same or
    constant then it is an arithmetic sequence.

    During the 20th century there was a large increase in the variety of music that people had
    access to. Prior to the invention of mass market gramophone records (developed in 1892) and
    radio broadcasting (first commercially done ca. 1919–20), people mainly listened to music at
    live Classical music concerts or musical theatre shows, which were too expensive for many
    working class people; on early phonograph players (a technology invented in 1877 which was
    not mass-marketed until the mid-1890s); or by individuals performing music or singing songs on
    an amateur basis at home, using sheet music, which required the ability to sing, play, and read
    music. These were skills that tended to be limited to middle-class and upper-class individuals.
    With the mass-market availability of gramophone records and radio broadcasts, listeners could
    purchase recordings of, or listen on radio to recordings or live broadcasts of a huge variety of
    songs and musical pieces from around the globe. This enabled a much wider range of the
    population to listen to performances of Classical music symphonies and operas that they would
    not be able to hear live, either due to not being able to afford live-concert tickets or because
    such music was not performed in their region.
