Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad (commonly known as QAU), founded because the University of
Islamabad, is a public research university in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Founded because the University of Islamabad in 1967, it had been initially dedicated to the study of
postgraduate education but expanded through the 1980s to an interdisciplinary university offering
undergraduate and postgraduate education. The university has, as of 2015, grown into the most
important varsity in Islamabad with a complete enrollment exceeding 13,000 students. The university is
on a 1700 acres (or 6.9 km²) campus on the foothills of the Margalla.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Quaid-I-Azam University

• A minimum score of 50% in HSSC Part-I is required for undergraduate admission to this university.

• Any former student rusticated or expelled from the Quaid-i-Azam University will not be allowed

How to Apply for Quaid-I-Azam University?

Following are the steps to apply for Quaid-e-Azam University Admission 2021:
Sign Up On the Official Website

First candidates have to visit the official website of Quaid-e-Azam by typing www.qau.edu.pk. Now, click
on “Apply now” and you will be taken to the tab that asks for signing up through email for the application
process of admission.
Login ID and Password

As soon as you sign up, an email is going to be dispatched to your entered email address. This bears your
unique and personal login ID, password, and therefore the URL required for filling the application form
ahead. Star this email id and password somewhere accessible.
Fill the Application Form
Following are the steps to fill the Quaid-e-Azam University application form:
1. Program

The Quaid-e-Azam University Admission 2021 Fee Structure is Rs. 2100 that is payable in HBL or Askari
Bank. Download and print the admission fee voucher once the previous steps have been completed.
Confirm the provision of all required documents or a leftover document fee of Rs. 1000 will be charged
from applicants.
 Applicants will be uploading a scanned copy of the original challan form once it’s paid.
 The application processing fee is non-refundable in any case.
Final Submission
This is a rechecking process that will display all the entries in the entire form of final submission. As the
applicants verify the credentials provided, the application form for admission will be submitted and the
process completed to get admission to Quaid-e-Azam University.
Merit Lists
Every department decides and issues a unique and exclusive merit list for every program, this basically
rests on the number of applicants, the HSSC average score for a year, and therefore the tests score (if
applicable). A complete of 8 merit lists are shared from the beginning of August till the mid of September.
