Course Description
Eng 112 - Reading and Writing Skills is highly
considered as a communication tool that
requires students to demonstrate critical
thinking (1) and organizing skills (2) towards
effective communication (3). It necessitates
the development of macro skills but gives
emphasis on reading and writing. It exposes
students to a wide range of interdisciplinary
materials through a process-product approach.
The number of attendance should

Homework!
Answer the Pre-assessment and Prelection of your Module,
pages 1 to 3.
Read all the example paragraphs under lesson 1: Patterns of
Development in Writing (page 2-8 of your module).
Prepare your answer to the question, "What makes the
selected texts categorized as their corresponding pattern
of development?"
On our next S-mode session
we will:
discuss the results of your reading
habits;
process your answer to the question
from the previous slide; and
discuss lesson 1: Patterns of
Development in Writing.
