Work to Complete: Between Day 2 and Day 3

1 Complete Phase 1: Complete your Impact Index, including the assessment of your primary sponsor and the coalition.

2 Complete Partial Phase 2: Draft your Communications Plan and a Sponsor Roadmap.

Complete Your Presentation for Certification: Complete your slides and send them to your coach, through email, prior to

the start of class.

4 Complete Your Presentation to Present: Everyone will present their presentation to two other participants.

Presentation Instructions for Certification
✓ Your completed PowerPoint deck presentation must be submitted to your coach, by email, before the start of class on
Thursday.
✓ Your presentation must include required elements:
• Why Change Management (slide 5) (and optionally as needed, slides 7 and/or 8)
• Project Change Triangle (PCT) (slide 9)
• Risk Assessment Grid (slide 10)
• Change Impact by Group (slide 12)
• ADKAR (slide 13)
• Sponsor Assessment Diagram (slide 16)
• Communication Plan (slide 17)
• Sponsor Roadmap (slide 19)

Presentation Instructions – Day 3
✓ Your presentation should be no more than 10 minutes long. Practice being concise.
✓ Tell your story in regular words. Do not overload your presentation with change management jargon.
✓ As the first step in creating your presentation, you should identify:
• The targeted audience for the presentation (who).
• The key messages, purpose or objective of the presentation (why).
• What outcome, sometimes called the ‘Ask’, you wish to achieve as a result of your presentation.

This is your presentation of your change plan. Feel free to combine slides,
re-sequence slides or add a slide from the Library of Figures.

Presentation Directions
• Each person will have a chance to present what Presenter
they have learned. ✓ Tell your colleagues what role you would like them to
play.
• Each presenter will have 10 minutes to present.
✓ Share your screen.
• The feedback session will be 5 minutes in length.
✓ Practice presenting.
• Everyone will rotate roles and repeat. Timekeeper
• The presentation session should last 1 hour. ✓ Give the presenter visual cues at the 5, 2, and 1-minute
remaining marks.
✓ Keep time for the feedback session.
✓ Capture feedback to share.

✓ Capture feedback to share.
✓ Facilitate the feedback session.
✓ Start with what was great (2-3 points) move to
suggestions for improvement (2-3 points).
