THE ORGANIZATION PERCEPTION

QUESTIONNAIRE (OPQ)

This questionnaire asks you to indicate your perception of several aspects of “The
Organization” (TO). Before you respond to the items or issues, you will need to define “The
Organization” as a business unit, division, department, or work group, if this has not been done
for you. Focus on this organizational unit while completing the OPQ.
As you respond to the items on the OPQ, define “The Organization” (TO) as:
_________________________________________

There are two response columns: A and B.

Column A: The way I perceive “The Organization” is now. (current) Column B: The way I
perceive “The Organization” should be. (desired)

Using the response scale below, record your perceptions to the 40 items or issues listed, both as
they are now and the way they should be.

2 = Not very; not very much
3 = Moderately (on the low side)

There are no right or wrong answers! Your perceptions are what are important!
