GETTING LOST.

1. Have you ever lost your way?

-> I don’t remember vividly, but if my memory serves me right, I did get lost
once while on a vacation. I literally lost all sense of direction and I kind of
panicked.
2. How can you find your way when you’re lost?
-> I, for one, ask people around for guidance. Alternatively, one can
conveniently make use of maps apps too.
3. Can you read the map when you get lost?
-> I’m completely clueless. Despite how many times I look at a map, I still find
it extremely perplexing. I am hard pressed to precisely pinpoint my location and
where I wanna head.
4. Have you ever helped someone who got lost?
-> I actually did. I was aimlessly wandering around the streets when I saw a
little kid bawling his eyes out. I figured that he got lost, so I offered him a
helping hand. Eventually, we found his mother.

SPECIAL COSTUMES
1. Do you like to wear special costumes?
-> Nah, they’re mostly too flashy and flamboyant for my liking. I prefer casual
clothes, which are much comfier and more fitting.
2. Did you try any special costumes when you were young?
-> Actually yes. As far as I recall, my mom bought a fairy costume during Mid-
Autumn Festival. I would be so ecstatic that I put it on right away and wander
around the streets to show it off to people.
3. When was your last time wearing special costumes?
-> I feels like ages ago when I last wore an unique outfit. When I was little, I
was kinda big on Halloween and the likes, but it just stopped appealing to me. I
guess I’ve matured.
4. Do you ever buy special costumes?
-> Never. Since they’re tailor-made for special occasions, I don’t want to
splurge out on such costumes. What’s the point in having them when you
cannot wear them on a regular basis? In addition, I’m not even remotely fond of
cosplaying or dressing up for festivals.

WEATHER
1. What kind of weather do you like most?
-> Definitely mild weather, when it is neither too hot nor too cold. I like to
engage in outdoor activities, so such weather conditions are very favorable.
2. What is the weather like in your hometown?
-> In Hanoi, the weather is kinda extreme. It is scorching in summer and
freezing in winter. However, I still prefer it to the weather in other regions I’ve
been to.
3. Is there any difference in the weather in different parts of Vietnam?
-> Of course there is. Take HCM as an example. It’s sultry all year round and
relentless downpour is like the norm there, which is a far cry from the weather
in HN, as it only rains heavily in summer here.
4. Do you prefer dry or wet weather?
-> The former. Idk exactly why but I always somehow feel at ease when the
weather is dry. When it’s wet, I can’t help but feel kinda lethargic and sullen.

SHOES
Do you like buying shoes?
-> Absolutely. Apart from being a godsend that makes me feel comfy when I
run, shoes are also a fashion item. I’m so obsessed with them that most of my
savings are spent on shoes.
Have you ever bought shoes online?
-> Yeah, I actually have. When I buy shoes in brick-and-mortar stores, I tend to
go over my budget. When it comes to online stores, it’s much more cost-
efficient, bc most stores do not charge sales tax and it’s 10 times easier to
compare the prices for the best possible deal.
How much money do you usually spend on shoes?
-> If I tell you the exact number you might think I’m a shoes maniac. Just
kidding, but um, I do spend a little too much money on shoes, I’d say.
Which do you prefer, fashionable shoes or comfortable shoes?
-> Although I do love it when my shoes complement my outfit, I do regard them
as a fashion item, I tend to look for the footwear that I feel comfy in, I don’t
wanna get blisters, as long as it is not-offensive-looking.

PETS AND ANIMALS

What is your favorite animal?
-> My favorite animal is a dog. That is because dogs are so loveable, playful,
cute, hyper, soft, and you can cuddle with them!
Have you ever kept an animal as a pet?
-> Unfortunately, my mother’s allergic to animal fur, so much as I want to keep
a puppy, we cannot do that. Actually, I used to keep a crab and walk it around
my house, but I wouldn’t call it a pet.
Where do you prefer to keep your pet, indoors or outdoors?
-> Definitely indoors, where I can keep an eye on it. Animal abduction is kinda
rife in Vietnam. I would be devastated if I lost my pet.

Public garden and parks

Would you like to play in a public garden or park?
-> Absolutely, I’m kinda outdoorsy type of person. There’s a local park just a
stone’s throw away from my house so it’s kinda convenient.
What do you like to do when visiting a park?
-> I take a stroll around the park nearby. I feel like a brisk walk is really
invigorating and helps me let off steam.
How have parks changed today compared to the time you were a kid?
-> Most parks I used to frequent when I was a kid have been refurbished. Many
amenities have been added recently, which I guess will make the kids in town
really thrilled.
Would you prefer to visit a private garden or public garden?
-> Public garden for the win. Although it is undeniable that a private garden is
better taken care of, a public garden is open for everyone to come and engage in
stimulating activities with their family, which I find more appealing.

Headphones
Do you use headphones?
-> Yeah, I use them on a daily basis. I live in the very heart of Hanoi, so it’s
really bustling. I have to put up with car horns and people yelling, cursing…
everyday. Headphones really do provide an escape from these noises.
What type of headphones do you use?
-> I use in-ear headphones, which I find much more portable than over-ear ones.
But it really frustrates me when they get tangled.
When would you use headphones?
-> As I’ve stated before, my headphones are frequently used at home, for peace
of mind. But I do bring them with me in public, bc I don’t to get on people’s
nerves, like forcing them to listen to the songs playing on my phone.
In what conditions you won't be using headphones?
-> During my conversations with others. It’s only courtesy to show people
you’re listening to them attentively with respect.
