3. Cross-Chain Tradin

A decentralized exchange (DEX) is a cryptocurrency exchange that operates in a decentralized way, without
a central authority.

The DEXs industry currently faces issues to stabilize asset prices. This means that the trader might end up
paying more than the actual market price of the token.

Actual DEXs are not capable of supporting a wide range of cryptocurrencies due to the lack of
interoperability and liquidity. They also lack intuitiveness and are more suitable for advanced traders

Moreover, the EGG supplies Automated Market Making services to reduce and even bene t large spreads,
with the help of arbitrage tools

DEXs Aggregatio
Integrating major decentralized exchanges from multiple blockchains is key for users to take advantage
DeFi’s best opportunities. The most famous cryptocurrencies as well as promising trending assets appearing
on new blockchains are not all in the same DeFi place. A transparent arbitrage takes place at every trade to

Reduced Fee

to 0.1% fee is applied on advanced cross-chain trading using EGG’s routing system and a 0 to 1% fee using
Fiat On Ramps

Slippage is the difference between the expected price of a trade and the price at which the trade is executed.
This means that when there is an imbalance in the number of trade volumes, prices, sellers, and buyers, the
prices will then change to adjust to the next available price on the market. EGG becomes its own automated
market maker

During this process, the changing ratio for under-collateralized tokens in exchange for over-collateralized
tokens naturally changes the net asset value, as some of the value is either taken out or added in by the
rebalancing liquidity provider. This change in net asset value is the rebalancing slippage

Bridge
Blockchain bridges enable interoperability between vastly different networks, such as Ethereum and
Polygon, and between one parent blockchain and its child chain, called a sidechain, which either operates
under different consensus rules or inherits its security from the parent blockchain (e.g., Ethereum Rollups)

Bridges can also drastically reduce fees. By automatically nding the cheapest route, the transaction fee
being taken into account, our tools lead to a very low approach.

4. Cross-Chain Yield Farmin

Yield farming is inherently risky. Besides being exposed to the asset risk of holding cryptocurrencies, yield
farming generally incurs additional layers of risk that you can discover in section « 13: Risks »

However, as DeFi protocols enabling yield farming continue to grow, users will have more options to reduce
their risks by choosing mature projects with a history of success and lower fees by using alternative
blockchains

Single Asset Liquidity Minin

To provide liquidity in pools on Uniswap (Ethereum-based) or Quickswap (Polygon-based), one has to
prepare a 50/50 provision of 2 tokens in advance, that adds friction to the whole process

On EGG.FI, one can deposit a single asset that automatically gets split 50/50 before depositing into DEXs.
The program checks which token is more in demand in the liquidity pool so that we can ensure the provision
maximizes your share of the pool.

An example below would be that you're zapping into the USDC/ETH LP in Uniswap with ETH. The Zapper
will swap 50% of your ETH into USDC and then deposit the 2 tokens into Uniswap so one can become a
liquidity provider earning market-making fees and potentially LP rewards

Adding liquidity through EGG becomes much easier than adding liquidity manually. Zap features can also be
applied to « Concentrated Liquidity » that we explain below

Concentrated Liquidit
When providing liquidity to a Uniswap market, liquidity providers are able to select a range where their
liquidity will take effect. Now the liquidity can be concentrated in a smaller area that allows for higher
volume trades with less slippage since everyone's liquidity no longer needs to be stretched all along the price
curve

EGG is embedding this feature within the Zapper, so that it can enable a single asset provision across price
ranges and nally allowing unequal proportions between the 2 assets of a pair, when it was mandatory to be
limited to a 50/50 proportion in the previous DEXs era.

Liquidity Stakin
For a liquidity provider, you are now doubly incentivized to maintain your LP token, because you are not
only earning the trading fees, you are also earning rewards on top of that in the form of reward tokens.

increase trading activity

Staking is the process of actively participating in transaction validation (similar to mining) on a proof-of-

Choosing between the various farms is a dif cult decision to make. The EGG dashboard becomes useful in
analyzing and comparing how other users are making their farming decisions
The traditional de nition of APY is the real rate of return earned on an investment taking into account the
effect of compounding earnings

Using this terminology would indicate that the yield farm was compounding earnings for you. That is simply
not the case. It is hard to estimate the returns of yield farming even in a short term period. As many factors
could contribute to these uncertainties, some of the reasons include the volatile uctuations in yield farming
and the relentless competition.
So, if one of the yield farming strategies is overpopulated, naturally, the returns will dwindle

5. Intelligent Data Selectio

We synchronize dozens of data sources, themselves bringing together millions of data, whether on-chain,
social, news, off chain APIs, or even on site metrics.
EGG puts pre-modeled and labeled blockchain data in the hands of communities. Through dashboard and
visualization tools, as well as auto-generated API endpoints, queries can easily be added to the algorithm

In contrast to traditional data sources (e.g., centrally controlled corporate databases), blockchains by design
provide several bene ts that are important for Data Science applications

• High data quality: All new records go through a rigorous, blockchain-speci c validation process
powered by one of the many “consensus mechanisms”. Once validated and approved, these records
become immutable — no one can modify them for any purposes, good or malicious ones. Blockchain
data are typically well structured and their schemas are well documented. This makes the life of a
Data Scientist who works with such data much easier and more predictable

• Traceability: Blockchain records contain all the information necessary to track their origin and
context, e.g., which address initiated a transaction, time when it happened, the amount of asset
transferred, and which address received that asset. Moreover, most of the public blockchains have
“explorers” — websites where anyone can examine any record that has ever been generated on the
respective blockchain (see, for example, the Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple explorers)

• Built-in anonymity: Blockchains do not require their users to provide any personal information,
which is important in a world where keeping one’s privacy has become a real issue. From a Data
Scientist’s perspective, this helps to overcome the headaches associated with some of the regulations
(e.g., GDPR in Europe) that require personal data to be anonymised before processing

• Large data volumes: Many Machine Learning algorithms require large amounts of data to train
models. This is not a problem in mature blockchains, that offer gigabytes of data

Leveraging a proprietary knowledge graph able to draw inferences from data points, EGG created a multi-
disciplinary platform that extracts insights and delivers products and services tailored to a number of speci c
industries. The code base, sources and methodologies are meant to be open-source and publicly available.
They also meet all compliance requirements for traditional nancial applications

EGG combines both on-chain & off-chain data acquisition treating a constantly growing database containing
millions of wallets. Over 150M+ labeled wallets are analyzed as well as their activity. Decentralization,

On Chain Portfolios Data Acquisitio

EGG’s portfolio analytics solution provides support for multi-asset portfolio construction and backtesting,
quantitative performance and risk analysis of the portfolio and its components, measurement of performance
against benchmark and calculation of investment risk indicators, analysis of stress events, drawdowns and
value-at-risk, visualization of risk metrics and the ef cient frontier, evaluation of sector allocation,
correlations and decomposition of portfolio risk, optimization of the portfolio with prede ned mean-variance
strategies.

EGG has used on-chain data to nd speci c patterns of activity that would give us a competitive edge when
presenting digital assets. The mantra our team followed was simple and humble: Wallets with money know
more than we do.

In doing so, we set out to nd the wallets that seemed to be moving the markets. Although we could not
detect the trades that were occurring behind the scenes of centralized exchanges like Binance, Poloniex or
Kraken for speci c wallets, we could detect the wallets that were depositing and withdrawing the most value

Exchange ows analysis are based on monitoring funds moving in and out of centralized exchanges by
analyzing on-chain transactions. This process requires to associate speci c addresses with exchanges and
then accurately monitor the ows. Trying to do this in a manual way is highly inaccurate and unsustainable
over time.

We follow a machine learning approach with some human interventions and the rst wave of results seem
robust. Models having best results are applied into EGG’s main data selection algorithm

For example, we were able to identify all of the largest depositors on exchanges and follow where they were
originating their funds

We started to understand the ow of value and the personas of trading activity behind the wallets. In doing
so, we have successfully been able to target opportunities that would otherwise go unnoticed. Some of them
were to create models linking one or more wallets to the same entity, allowing to have a more global view of
the winning activities.

By design, the identity of blockchain address owners is usually unknown. However, being able to categorize
certain addresses into prede ned groups or, better yet, link them to real-world entities can be of great value.
This is especially true for addresses involved in illicit activities, such as money laundering, distribution of
drugs, ransomware, Ponzi schemes, human traf cking, and even terrorism nancing. The problem of address
categorization has been successfully tackled with supervised learning in several studies that developed either
binary classi ers or multi-class classi ers (e.g., “exchange”, “pool”, “gambling”, and “service” addresses)

The respective models have been developed using on-chain data and a variety of standard Machine Learning
algorithms. Interestingly, in contrast to the cryptocurrency price forecasting studies, tree-based methods (in
particular, Random Forest) have often outperformed Deep Learning-based algorithms. These will therefore
be part of our solutions

On Chain Assets Data Acquisitio

Cross-chain analytics is presented the right way. EGG gives you the tools to nd signals that may otherwise
be unknown. Our combination of multi-chain data and labeled addresses is incredibly powerful.

The tools we combine give an overall snapshot of moving funds. For further details, you can trace
transactions down to the most granular level. We track exchanges, token teams, and funds, which means you
can see exactly which entities are accumulating - or selling off - a speci c token. Token metrics on usage,
engagement, and liquidity are available so you can make informed decisions before investing in a new token.

Price analysis is the ongoing process of cryptocurrency traders and analysts nding patterns in the market to
determine optimal trading strategies and gauge market sentiment for the cryptocurrency market at large or
for speci c assets.

The two main indicators that are sought after are whether or not the market is bullish with upward-trending
price action or bearish with downward pressure on price. Price analysis techniques vary and are often used in
unison to provide as detailed a perspective of market conditions as possible

The majority of published studies attempted to predict the future price of Bitcoin or Ethereum, either in
absolute terms or as price direction (up or down). This has been done with algorithms ranging from simple
logistic regression to XGBoost and Deep Learning-based methods

Model inputs typically included a combination of on-chain (e.g., number of active addresses, transaction
volume, mining dif culty, transaction graph metrics) and off-chain variables (e.g., trading volumes on
exchanges). Overall, neural networks (in particular, those with LSTM-based architectures) have been found
to outperform tree-based algorithms, although the accuracy of prediction even in the best-performing models
was only marginally higher than a random guess

EGG’s asset metrics include network data metrics and certain market data metrics that are aggregated at the
asset-level (e.g., reference rates/prices and trusted Volume), as well as on the wallet-level

Off Chain Oracles Data Acquisitio

Ethereum’s smart contracts are completely self-contained and any data or access to off-chain data is limited.
For security purposes, this is necessary because execution in blockchains must be deterministic and the
reaction to subsequent calls to outside APIs can change in unknown ways. Nevertheless, with additional
outside data, some desirable forms of smart contracts are only feasible

An Oracle is a conceptual solution that takes off-chain information from the real world and submits an
immutable copy of this information into blocks, making it open for future use of smart contracts.

Chainlink teams brainstormed with us to integrate oracles into the programs set up by EGG.

Turn Data Into Strategie

As of today, there is no such thing as on-chain high-frequency trading. The best that can be afforded is
network coverage and a highly reputed node that listens and broadcasts information to different networks.
Pre-block rendering of transactions and annotations are key components to the future of decentralized
nance and trading

Currently, almost all trade is done between the top Cryptocurrency Exchanges. At EGG, we are extending it
to any of the centralized or decentralized exchanges carrying assets that can be collateralized. Because these
signals are public knowledge, anyone can verify the activity. Therefore, the determining factor in

The Performance Leaderboard is the rst of its kind, that will start by a free product and that will become a
major part of EGG’s business plan, helping the DAO generate revenues

EGG Finance contains a permission-less, unstoppable protocol for asset management assets from major DeFi
compatible blockchains. It is non-custodial: users retain ownership over their funds, investment managers
cannot run away with investor funds

This new, wallets leaderboard approach to investing is designed to help users diversify their portfolios,
minimize long-term risk, and take advantage of trending market opportunities.
Wallets are separated by blockchains and can be combined to nd top performers taking into account all
blockchains, the EGG community is also a category. Each portfolio is periodically re-ranked amongst
millions in order to get the most out of the feature. EGG Finance traces the routes of single user’s multiple

It is important to note that each « Copy Portfolio » action activates multiple trades but is counted as a single
trade. Each trade will open for you with the same proportional amount, as a percentage of your allocated

7. Pro t / Risk Sharing Loan

Pro t sharing loans have proven to be an effective tool to balance companies equity while at the same time
allowing for the possibility to deduct variable interest based on the evolution of borrower’s business.

Required criteria include the borrower’s pro t, its turnover, its net equity or any other agreed by the parties
through a fully decentralized manner. Besides, the parties can agree to a xed interest rate, regardless of the
borrower’s activity evolution

Debts generated through smart contracts like Aave or Compound are easily trackable on your EGG
dashboard. However, lending becomes problematic when the lender's gain is assumed to be the borrower's

The solution is a borrow / lend bidirectional platform where the borrower has to post a business plan in order
to convince lenders through smart contract voting

When the amount to be raised reaches 100%, the funds are released for the project leader, who can release

community through voting.

community to propose, vote, and implement changes through the administrative functions of the EGG token.

10. Layer 2 Solution

Gas fees on the Ethereum blockchain may have dropped, but that has not stopped an increasing number of
decentralized nance (DeFi) users and developers from ocking to layer 2 solutions: ZKrollups and Polygon

Recently, EGG opted to launch on the BSC as well as implementing L2 and allow its tokens to be ported to
another project — Polygon Network (MATIC).

Users are incentivized to do this because it allows them to earn interest. Now, with an EGG on Matic, users
can also trade and farm ERC20 or BEP20 tokens. With Polygon, transactions can be performed at higher
speeds and at a lower cost than on Ethereum’s network. While EGG may have moved to Matic, the roles and
the original EGG will still remain intact on Layer-1.

Polygon is actually powered by an Ethereum L2 scaling Plasma framework. The framework combines
cryptographic veri cation and smart contracts, that enables cheaper and faster transactions than Ethereum
itself can offer.

This is achieved by having the transactions of oaded to sidechains or plasma chains, thus reducing the load
on Ethereum

There are certain factors that should be considered before participating to any DeFi application. These risk
factors are linked to the companies, their activities, sectors of activity and structures. These risk factors

15. Zero-Knowledge KY

The main idea is to decentralize the world and KYC is seen as a burden. With the no-KYC process, anybody
can trade on DEXs without any identi cation. However, adding a KYC is a major friction for early adopters
to participate.

KYC is essential to allow institutions to participate in trading, as most of them are regulated entities. Without
bringing them on, it is dif cult to reach mainstream adoption of DEX trading.
Our solution is a Decentralized KYC, that is a way of using cryptographic proof instead of actual user’s data
to verify that the participant is not sanctioned by Anti Money Laundering or involved in other nancial
crimes

Since blockchain is using a 'proof of identity', the user’s personal data always remains only with the user in
his own wallet. This means that the data is not given out to any third parties and users are in full control of
their data – limiting the risk of data leaks or hacks.

KYC will be needed for users whose trades will exceed a certain limit. The exact limits will be enforced by
the upcoming regulations. Users will store their KYC data in a wallet and expose it to their preferred KYC
attester like Fractal. The chosen attester will issue a cryptographic proof to the blockchain. EGG will
therefore receive a zero-knowledge proof of identity
