Eligibility
A. Foreign
 national middle school students, graduates, or those with
equivalent educational background are eligible to apply

International B. S tudents who possess great interest and potential in mathematics,


science, and English communication ability are highly encouraged
Admissions to apply

for the year 2022 C. Holders of Korean citizenship are NOT eligible
a. After acquiring a foreign citizenship and without holding a dual
Korea Science citizenship with Korea, students who completed both their primary
and middle school level education abroad and whose parents hold
Academy of KAIST a foreign nationality are eligible to apply to KSA
b. Applicants who acquired foreign citizenship are required to submit
elementary school transcript and graduation certificate

B. 2nd Stage : Written Test (Mathematics), English Interviews

※ 2nd Stage tests and interviews will be given to those applicants who pass the 1st stage

※ Rolling Admissions : We accept applications and make decisions periodically until places are filled

Pre-enrollment Education for Admittee


A. Online Education for Admittee includes Mathematics, Science, English & Korean.
B. All admittee MUST participate in pre-enrollment education.

Financial Aid
KSA will provide the following expenses free of charge.

H. Other expenses are supportable according to school policy
※ E, F will be provided for selected students according to school policy.
※ Notes 1) Students who show outstanding academic performance will receive extra privileges according to school regulations.
2) The provisions above may be changed according to school policy.

Personal Expenses
A. F light expenses, School Uniform, Gym Uniform, Taekwondo Uniform, Experiment Garment, Laundry Service Fee,
Laundry Bag, Health Insurance, Alien Registration Card, Medical Check, Tetanus Vaccine and Textbook Fees should
be covered privately.
B. Other personal expenses should be covered privately.

Important Reminder
A. K
 orea Science Academy of KAIST is chartered for gifted education in math and science and funded by national
government. Students who are interested in Schools of medicine, pharmacy, or related fields are not suitable to apply.

 e remind applicants that all information must be complete, accurate, and their own work. Failure to submit
accurate information will jeopardize consideration for admission to KSA for the current and any future terms.
C. We do not disclose any information related to admissions process and submitted documents are not returnable.
