5. When working on a computer, why should we wear personal  
protective equipment (PPE)?
Answer: Making the workplace safe includes providing
instructions, procedures, training and supervision to encourage
people to work safe and responsible.

6. Why do you need to use personal protective equipment while  


working?
Answer: Because Personal protective equipment (PPE) will protect
the user against health or safety risks at work. To reduce the
risk, PPE is always observe.

7. Why do we prioritize safety our workplace/laboratory?  


Answer: In order for us to be free from danger injury, or damage,
as well as security in our workplace.

8. Why is there’s a need to ensure that cables, tools and other  


materials are safe to use?
Answer: To secure the safety of the trainee or staff while
performing any activity.

Contingency Questions
9. If accidentally drop the crimping tool, what contingency  
measure will you do?
Answer: Check the crimping tool for any damage.
10. What will you do when one of the tools you are using is  
missing without any idea where to find it?
Answer: Look for it within the workshop and report immediately
to the trainer.
11. What can you use to ensure power is not interrupted,  
resulting to data lose/corrupt?
Answer: If your data is important, an un-interrupt power supply
protects your computer and data during a power failure. The
spare battery in the UPS gives you ample time to save your
documents and shut down Windows properly so that you will not
lose any files or damage any hardware components.
12. What will you do if there is a sudden earthquake while you  
are inside the workshop?
Answer: Stay beside the wall and do the dock-cover.

14. What are your duties in keeping your practical  
workplace/laboratory safe and clean?
Answer:
a. You must follow the safe working procedures and principles
introduced at the workplace.
b. You must not engage in any unsafe act that may endanger
yourself or others working around you.
c. You must use, in proper manner, any personal protective
equipment, devices, equipment’s or other means provided to
secure your safety, health and welfare while working. You
must not tamper or misuse such items provided.
d. You must not engage in any negligent act that may endanger
yourself or others working around you.
15. How important is this course/qualification (Computer  
Servicing System NC II) to you?
Answer: Computer Servicing System NC II is a short TESDA
course in the Philippines that will train you in diagnosing and
troubleshooting software and hardware problems in personal
computer systems. Qualified graduates of the said
qualification have better career opportunities working in local
industry/companies or even in abroad.
16. How do you describe your responsibility as a trainee in  
keeping your tools, equipment and materials maintain to
their normal operation?
Answer: The trainee should follow the procedures on the proper
use of tools, materials and equipment under normal operating
conditions. In case the work is done, return all the tools,
materials and equipment in their respective storage for safe
keeping.

17. What is this law that passed by Congress in December  
2000 and signed by the President of the Philippines on
January 26, 2001 with the aim of adopting a systematic,
comprehensive and ecological solid waste management
program?
Answer: RA9003: Philippine Ecological Solid Waste Management
Act (PEWSMA) of 2000.
18. Are you allowed to work in the workplace/laboratory even  
if it is NOT your scheduled working hours? Why?
Answer: No. Work is NOT permitted in the workplace/laboratory
outside of the designated working/laboratory hours.

19. What do you need to do in order to provide safety in your  
workplace?
Answer: Keep your workplace clean and tidy (implement 5S).
20. What should you observe before, during and after laboratory  
work?
Answer: Be prepared for your work in the laboratory. Read all
procedures thoroughly before entering the laboratory. Follow all
written and verbal instructions carefully.  If you do not
understand a direction or part of a procedure, ask your trainer
before proceeding with the activity. Labels and equipment
instructions must be read carefully before use.
