---WRITING TASK 2
Some people say that modern technology, such as the internet and computers will ever
replace the book or the written word as the main source of information in the future.

knowledge or experience.

This is the end of the writing test
Group 1:
The internet and modern technology make most things easy for us and due to this,
a person can save his precious time. We can connect ourselves with the entire
world via the internet. Nowadays everything can easily be searched on the
internet including books, movies, games, news, weather news, etc. so the person
does not need to worry about anything because through modern technology like
the internet and computers they make everything so easy for us.
When we are purchasing a book or magazine through the internet, we don't pay
for papers. By contrast, we would have cost more for papers purchased from a
bookstore. Also, the availability is another reason as we can search the name or
the topic of a specific book through some websites such as Google or Yahoo and
would find thousands of results for that as opposed to spending time and money
for finding the book in the market.
However, some people are concerned about the effects of computer reading on
eye health, so they still prefer to use books. And for the study of students in the
classroom, it is impossible without books, so I believe that books will still exist in
the future.
In short, information technology will help people a lot, but it will not be able to
completely eliminate books and the written in the future.
Group 2:
Today's human society has many important things that affect their lives. Some
fields, for example, Science, Technology, Education, Sports, etc. However, it is
argued that modern technology, such as the internet and computers will ever
replace the book or the written word as the main source of information in
the future. Each point of view has its distinct qualities.
On the one hand, with the existence of computers and the internet, people
can obtain an enormous amount of information. Firstly, we just need to
open the computers, connect them to the network and search all kinds of
articles they need. Secondly, there are thousands of websites on the
internet, providing valuable information and giving people more access to
world knowledge. Lastly, many news cooperation nowadays offers electronic
newspapers, which can be read on computers, smartphones. As a result,
people now prefer reading online news and information more than
purchasing a book.
On the other hand, I do not think that books and written word will be faded
in the future. Firstly, not everyone enjoys looking at the computer screen for
an extended time; the light from computers causes eye irritation and
negatively affects eye health. Secondly, some can not have enough money to
purchase modern technology such as computers or smartphones to access
the sources of information on the internet. The online services would only be
available in advanced countries and in some major cities of developing.
Consequently, people who live in rural or remote areas will still need the
print-out version.
