This document contains a research gap table summarizing two studies on e-learning challenges during COVID-19. The first study examined challenges faced by English language learners in Saudi Arabia during the sudden transition to online learning. Gaps identified were a need for teacher perspectives on online English teaching and improved online learning applications. The second study examined factors affecting student satisfaction and performance in online classes during COVID-19. Gaps were a lack of examination of various factors' effects on satisfaction and performance together, and limitation to theory classes. Future research directions proposed included exploring teacher performance and practical classes.
