    REPORT ON ORIENTATION PROGRAMME F.Y.P.B. B.Sc., F.Y. M.Sc. & F.Y.


    NPCC NURSING STUDENTS

    Date:-1st October& 3rd October, 2019.


    Venue:- Sumandeep Nursing College

     Objectives:-
    To orient students to the college and hospital environment.
    To provide information and opportunities to explore academic success strategies
    The ability to function safely in the college/hospital/campus.
    To articulate and understand the advantages and challenges.
    To make students experience a sense of connectedness within the university
    campus.
    To provide ability to negotiate the physical environment of the campus.
    An integrated social support system and connection with other students.

    Orientation Programme was held on 1st October at F.Y. M.Sc. Nursing class,
    Sumandeep nursing college, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth. All students of F.Y.P.B. B.Sc., F.Y. M.Sc.
    & F.Y. NPCC were invited for the orientation programme. There were students and faculty
    of nursing present in the programme. The programme was started with Inauguration and
    prayer which was addressed by Mrs. Vruti Patel, F.Y. P.B.B.Sc. Co-ordinator, Sumandeep
    nursing college. Inauguration of the programmewas been done with lighting lamp by
    respected Principal – Dr. Ravindra H.N. & First year co-ordinators of respective batches.
    After invocation and prayer, Dr. Ravindra H.N., Principal, Sumandeep nursing
    college addressed welcome to the audience for orientation programme. Mrs. Bhoomika
    Patel, Assistant professor, Sumandeep nursing college has oriented regarding genesis of the
    university and institutions. Mr. Rajesh Joseph, F.Y. M.Sc. Nursing co-ordinator has oriented
    regarding institutions norms. There are various committee works in this institution. All
    institutional committee co-ordinators have oriented students regarding their respective
    committee. The following committee were been explained by their co-ordinator:

    At the end of programme, Mr. Swapnil Rahane, Assistant Professor, SNC has delivered
    vote of thanks to audience. In afternoon, all class co-ordinators of the respective batches
    introduce their students regarding course instructions, syllabus and the related curricular
    activities and solved their queries for the same.
    On 03/10/19, Orientation Programme was done at Sumandeep Nursing College.
    Students were oriented to different units of the college. Students were shown various
    departments and lab like fundamental lab, nutrition lab, community lab, paediatric/ OBG
    lab, A.V. aids lab and computer room. Students were also oriented and given information
    about mentorship program. Students were also oriented with the hospital, hostel, library,
    mess facility cafeteria, university building & all other college buildings of different courses
    offered by Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, bank etc.
