Production Logging

Production logging tools (PLT) are used for downhole measurement and analysis. Some key PLT sensors and applications include: - Spinner flow meter tools and radioactive tracer tools (RTS) are used to measure flow velocity. - Temperature tools are used to measure downhole temperature for various applications like identifying water or gas zones. - Fluid density tools like nuclear fluid density tools are used to measure fluid density. - Special conditions must be considered for tools like ensuring proper fluid density for spinner surveys or contributing flow rates from perforations for operation planning.
