immediately followed by an even number ?

(A) 2 (B) 4 (C) 3 (D) 5
Sol.(C) We have to find the sequence OEE. O-Odd No. & E -Even No. A odd number followed by two even numbers.
5 1 4 7 3 9 8 5 7 2 6 3 1 5 8 6 3 8 5 2 2 4 3 4 9 6.
ALPHABETICAL QUIBBLE
In these type of questions, generally a letter series is given, be it the English alphabets from A to Z or a randomised
sequence of letters. The candidate is then required to trace the letters satisfying certain given conditions as regards
their position in the given sequence or the sequence obtained by performing certain given operations on the given
sequence.
8. Thirty six vehicles are parked in a parking lot in a single row. After the first car, there is one scooter. After the second
car, there are two scooters. After the third car, there are three scooters and so on. Work out the number of scooters

Sol.(C) Let C and S denote car and scooter respectively.
Then, the sequence of parking is
CSCSSCSSSCSSSSCSSS/SSCSSSSSSCSSSSSSSC
The above sequence has been divided into two equal halves by a line.
Clearly, number of scooters in second half of the row = 2 + 6 + 7 = 15.
ALPHA -NUMERIC QUIBBLE
In these type of questions a jumped sequence of some letters, numbers and symbols is given and the candidate is
