has dark brown eyes that twinkle whenever she sees me. I hardly ever see them wet.
Grandmother likes to tell stories. She usually tells me brief stories of her childhood and expresses them very well with

Grandmother always says good things about him. She once told me that he was the nicest person she had ever met.

Bali
Bali is situated between the island of Java to the west and the island of Lombok to the east. This island is widely

Disney World Resort is one the most visited and largest recreational resorts in the world. It has four different theme
parks: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney MGM Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The Magic Kingdom theme park is the park first built in the resort. This theme park is represented by Cinderella’s
castle. It has about forty-eight attractions in seven themed lands.
Unlike the Magic Kingdom, Epcot contains tunnels underneath the buildings. The tunnels are used primarily for the
support facilities necessary for merchandise shops and restaurants. Spaceship Earth is the icon of Epcot. At Epcot, guests
can visit Future World that offers innovative aspects and applications of technology. Guests can also visit pavilions
representing eleven countries such as China, United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan, and Italy in World Showcase.
The other two theme parks at Disney World Resort are Disney-MGM Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. At
Disney-MGM Studios, guests can enjoy rides and shows based on Hollywood movies. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom,
guests can take a safari ride to see elephants, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, and lions. There are also two Disney water parks:

PAPUA

BANDUNG
Bandung is one of the largest cities in Indonesia and the capital of West Java Province. It is situated in the uplands of

PARIS
Paris is the capital of France. It’ known as the City of Light because of its beauty.

The Eiffel Tower is the best-known landmark in Paris. France built this lacy, iron
tower for the Paris World’s Fair of 1889. The fair honored the French Revolution that

wide, tree-lined boulevard is one of the Arc de Triomphe (Arch of Triumph). This monument was built to honour the

fountains and statues.
In the middle of Paris, there is an old palace: The Louvre which has become one of the world’s great museums.
Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous painting, the Mona Lisa can be found in this museum. If you like paintings by the French

Orville Wright
Orvill Wright was a co-inventor of the airplane and the first person to fly a powered machine.
Born on August 19th, 1871 in Dayton, Ohio, Oriville and his brother, Wilbur, were very
interested in flying.
In 1900, they constructed a glider that could carry a pilot. In the following year, they
consturucted a wind tunnel and tested about 200 wing designs.
On desember 17th, 1903, orville became the first person to fly a powered aircraft. He stayed on
the air for 12 seconds at kill Devil Hills near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. This experiment cost a
lot of money, but he never gave up. He designed and sold bicycles for a living.
In 1905, Wright brothers offered the airplane to the US War Department, but it was declined.
Nevertheless, they obtained a patent for the aiplane in 1906.
In 1908, Orville and Wilbur completed the first airplane for the US Army; but it crashed. A year later, however, an
identical craft was tested and accepted. In the same year, Wright brothers esthablished the Wrights Company to manufacture
airplanes.
After struggling for a long time to make his dream and many people’s dream to fly come true, Orville Wright finally
gained success. On January 30th, 1948, he died in peace.

One summer, a grasshopper spent his days merrily singing and dancing. He hopped everywhere, while ants were busy
gathering grains of wheat and corn. He laughed at the ants and said, “How dull! Why don’t you sing and dance with me

“We are storing away food for the winter,” they explained, “you should do the same.”
The grasshopper laughed and replied, “Why worry about the winter? I have plenty to eat for now.” And he hopped

But when the winter came, the grasshopper could find no more food. Shivering, he knocked at the ants’ door. “Can you
spare me some seeds?” he begged. “I’m cold and hungry!”
“We worked hard all sumer to store away food,” they answered. “What were you doing?”
“Then sing and dance for us now!” they told him. “It’s time you work for your dinner.”
Once upon a time, a lion had been hunting for days without catching anything to eat.
“It looks like I will go hungry again!” he though.
The he saw a hare fast asleep beneath a shady tree. He moved quietly towards it,
thinking. “At last! Here is a delicious meal sitting and waiting for me!”
He was about to catch the hare when a fine young deer trotted by. The lion thought,
“Now there is an even better dinner!” he turned and chased the deer. The noise woke the
hare and he quickly hopped away.
After a long chase, the lion failed to catch the deer. Tired out he came back looking
for the hare, but found that it had run away.
“What a fool I am!” the lion said as his empty stomach growled.
“It serves me right for losing the food that was almost mine, just for the chance of getting more!”

The wind and the sun argured about which of them was the strongest.

behind and he blew from in front of the boy. The harder he blew, the more
tightly the boy held on to his coat to keep it from blowing away. After a
while, the wind gave up.
Then, it was the sun’s turn. It came out from behind the clouds and
shone on the boy. The boy felt warm. After that, it began to get hotter and hotter. Soon, the boy could not stand the heat any
longer. He took his coat off. The sun won.

“I fought and won against the greatest of beasts,” he thought sadly, “only to be devoured by one less powerful than I
am!”
