 12 Volt – very
simple and safe
12 Volt (low voltage) is considered by European Directives as being very safe.
Improved technology allows 12 Volt lighting to light up your garden and other
outdoor areas in a well-lit and atmospheric way. The whole system from
transformer to luminaires is safe and easy to install yourself, without the need
of other tools.

Unlike a 230 Volt system, our 12 Volt system does not require heavy armoured cables to be put
half a metre under the ground. Furthermore, every completed system is always easy to modify
and/or customise. The safety and simplicity of the system makes it possible for anyone to install
the lighting, cables, fittings and accessories without an electrician. 12 VOLT, DO IT YOURSELF!

LED Technology
All lights in the Garden Lights range are equipped with Light Emitting Diodes - LED’s.
LED’s are available in warm-white, white and blue colours.
The big advantages of LED’s are their extremely low energy usage and long life-span. LED’s also
have better shock-resistance and low heat emission. Nearly all LED light sources in the Garden
Lights range are easily replaceable should a failure or breakage occur.

 System Explanation
With the complete 12 Volt system from Garden Lights you are assured of a light plan that can be
installed safely, quickly and without an installer by everyone. By connecting the lamps simply on
the cable through the connector, the system is easy to install for everyone. Plug & Play!

1 Lighting choice
Select the light fixtures you want to use to tastefully illuminate your front yard, garden, driveway,
parking area, fence, pond or porch from our extensive product range.

2 Transformer choice
The total wattage of the lighting you choose determines the wattage of the transformer. Add up
the number of watts of the lamps + accessories for the total wattage. You can then choose a
21, 60 or 150 watt transformer. Tip! Always provide some extra space if you want to add a lamp
and / or accessories later.

3 Cable choice
Then you get started with the main cable, you can choose 1. fixed
from 2 types of systems.
1. The main cable including connectors at fixed points. This
cable is available in 10 and 15 meters.
2. The main cable Flex without fixed connectors. With the
separately available Flex connectors you are flexible in
connecting the lamp to the main cable. This cable is 2. flexible

available in 10 and 25 meters.

You can optionally expand the system through a cable

distributor, an extension cable and other accessories.

 Installation Tips
Helpful tips for installing the Garden Lights system

• You don’t need an electrician for the installation, just do it yourself.

• One central 230 Volt connection is sufficient to light up most gardens using the 12 Volt
transformer. This connection may be in your house, a garage, garden shed or waterproof
outdoor socket. You won’t need an electrician to plug in the transformer!
• Unlike a 230 Volt system, our 12 Volt system does not require cables to be put half a metre
under the ground so you can lay cables over borders or along fence lines etc.
• Depending on the load the maximum possible cable length can be up to 80 meters.
• For extra security around your home and garden you can use our compatible timers with
dusk/dawn sensors or our motion sensors.
• The remote controller allows you to design and control up to 9 separate groups of lamps
independently of each other.
