COURSE INFORMATION
1. Course Number : FIL. 323
2. Course Name : Introduksyon sa Pamamahayag
3. Course Description : Ang kursong ito ay sumasaklaw sa kasaysayan ng pamamahayg sa Pilipinas,gayundin ang
pahayagang pampaaralan. Tatalakayin dito ang mga batayang tuntunin at simulain sa pagsulat ng balita, pangulong-tudling
at iba pang bahagi ng pamahayagan. Aalamin din ang istilo sa pagwawasto at pag-uulo ng balita. Tatalakayin din sa kursong
ito ang mga wastong kaasalan at pag-uugali na dapat taglayin at isaalang-alang ng isang peryodista.

katuringan ng pamahayagan; mga kabatiran sa mga saklaw ng kurso ng
pamahayagan sa mga iba’t ibang antas ng paaralan. Maging ang mga
layunin ng pampaaralang pamahayagan;mga kaalaman sa mga
hakbangin sa paglilimbag ng pahayagan at malinang ang mga kaalaman
sa iba’t ibang sangkap ng balita. Kinakailangang maayos mong
mailalapat ang mga uri ng pamatnubay at ang mga gamit nito.
Second Paksa F hanggan H Multiple Choice Inaasahang malalaman mo ang mga katuringan at katangian ng
Exam (100% of the exam) balitang pampalakasan/isports at mabatid ang mga nilalaman ng pang-
unang balita (advance news), kasalukuyang balita (coverage news) at
mga balitang panubaybay (follow-up news) at ang pakikipanayam
maging ang mga iba’t ibang uri nito. Inaasahan din na malilinang ang
kakayahan mo sa pagsulat ng balitang batay sa pakikipanayam.
Third Exam Paksa I hanggang Multiple Choice Inaasahan na malilinang ang kakayahan mo sa pagsasagawa ng
M (100% of the exam) mahusay, maayos at malinaw na pagwawasto ng kopya at ang kaalaman
sa iba’t ibang bagay na dapat iwasto sa isang balita at sa ibang uri ng
lathalain bago ito ipalimbag. Kinakailangang ikaw ay may kasanayan sa
paggamit ng mga pananda at magkaroon ng kabatiran sa mga katangian

14. Policies and guidelines


a. Attendance is counted from the first regular class meeting.
b. A validated student identification card must always by worn be all students while attending classes.
c. Cheating is strictly prohibited. Any form of dishonesty shall be dealt with accordingly. Honesty is called for at
all times.
d. Valid examination permits are necessary in taking the examinations as scheduled. CELLULAR PHONES or any
ELECTRONIC GADGETS and PRESCRIBED PRC CALCULATORS are NOT allowed during EXAMINATIONS.
e. Base-15 grading policy should be observed. Students who obtained failing scores in major exams are
recommended to attend the tutorial class.
