I. INTRODUCTION
Cheap n' dip otherwise known as French fries but instead of
potatoes I use the local product of Sta Marcela which is
Cassava. The product is just like the fries everyone used to
love but a twist is added. It became longer and giant, a far
different from the usual fries. This Giant and Long Mashed
Cassava Sticks are new to the sight and taste around Sta
Marcela as the Target Market or Consumer of the product. It
is made in Mashed Cassava as the main ingredient, cornstarch
as an extender, water as the binder and other seasonings. Put
the mixture of mashed cassava in a pastry bag, and prepare a
pan. Gradually put oil in heated pan then ready to cook the
long cassava fries. It is easy to prepare, cook, and make.
The main ingredients used with the product such as cassava
are abundant in the place. It will not be hard for you to
find the ingredients you can even plant it on your home. The
price of the raw materials needed is affordable and rest
assured that the product will be profitable.

MISSION
Cheap n’ Dip mission is to provide the customer a crunchy and
relaxing experience. Exist to attract and maintain customers.
The services will exceed the expectations of the customers.
To enhance their taste buds by the providing the delightful
taste of cassava that will excite their imagination.
VISION
The Cheap n’ Dip project not only promotes healthy lifestyle
through growing and selling publicly, produced it to help the
community and satisfy their desire to eat healthy snacks. To
build a successful business out of our high quality cassava
sticks.
OBJECTIVES
A.) To establish a presents as a successful local food snack
stall in a market share in Apayao food snack industry.
B.) Ensure customers satisfaction and build a repeat customer
base. To modify the menu and other services with the change in
consumer taste, market demand and marketing strategies.
C.) To make Cheap n’ Dip a destination spot for all the
students and also around the community.
D.) To help lessen malnutrition.

II. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Food Business in our community and surroundings


makes the world lively because people tend to taste different
foods offered by owners.
Potato fries is currently one of the world’s most
popular snack foods so that is why I want to try this kind of
business but with the use of cassava which is our local plant
in the community. And the company Cheap n’ Dip have innovated
the all-time favorite fries. The company Cheap n’ Dip made it
longer, tastier, yummier and affordable. Cheap n’ Dip intends
to cater to the bulk of teenagers in youngsters in Sta Marcela
Apayao. We have chosen this group for several important
reasons. It is my goal to be the “extra ordinary fast food
stall”.
We will ensure that we get our customers involve
when making some business decisions that directly affect them.
Cheap n Dip will all times demonstrate its commitment to
sustainability. My company is in the snacks production
industry to sell well package cassava fries and of course to
make profits, which is why we will ensure we go all the way to
employ all the available and workable business strategies, and
my primary target is to become the best cassava fries shop in
Santa Marcela Apayao within next 3 years of our launch.

III. THE TARGET CUSTOMERS AND THE MAIN VALUE PROPOSITION

The target market and costumers of the company Cheap n’ Dip
is everyone around Sta Marcela, Both students and faculty
members and staffs, men and women aged 11 and above are the
target consumer of Cheap n’ Dip, students and faculty staffs
are the potential consumers or buyers of the products. People
who can afford 15 pesos and above are the possible purchaser
of Mashed Cassava Fries of Cheap N’ Dip.

B. My main focus in marketing will be to increase customer


awareness in the surrounding community. We will direct all of
our tactics and program towards the goal of explaining who I
am and what I am are all about. I will price my products
fairly, keep our standards high, and execute the concept so
that “word-of-mouth” will be our main marketing force. .

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

* Fries has become a trend to all the people especially children


and teen-agers so in order to save more money and also make a new
snack business that is new to their taste i use cassava and also
this can be a trend especially it has the same process as the
making of french fries,a cassava fries can satisfy your desire to
eat delicious and healthy food with a fast transaction or without
waiting for too long or in short it is a fast food
business,others may question on what specifically the cassava
that i choose to make a fries well you see i bought the cassava
from selected local farmers so i will have a direct supply and
also i even have my own cassava garden so you will not need to
purchase anymore,in Sta Marcela cassava has been abundant in our
community so this is a very good idea to use cassava as a fries
and for sure it will become successful and much more cheaper than
the french fries and i can also make it longer which is new to
their sight.

*It is serve as 9 pieces of long fries with dip for only about 15
pesos which is quite affordable but also can make you healthy

Review of Competition

Cheap n’ Dip business have indirect competitors in the town.


its indirect competitors are the business who operates in the
place but offers different product with the same main ingredient
which is cassava,for example Rebiajos and Vicerra which also use
the same ingredient but different product .

SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT
In this time of pandemic i know that we have been affected
especially businesses and that is why i created CHEAP N' DIP
not just to kill time but also my main target is to sustain a
good physical and mental wellness of all the people of Sta
Marcela,my product will contribute as a nutritious snack to all
of the community which i hope that someday will become
successful and continue to profit.

V. PRODUCT/SERVICE OFFERING

The distribution section of Cheap n ’Dip is in Sta Marcela


Apayao, were we offer our products,the company Cheap n’ Dip
location will have two stall the first stall is located at the
Public Market while the other one will be located at San Carlos
Sta Marcela because that is the heart or where all the people
in the community buy or purchase all their needs and also the
people will have easier access to the business without exerting
too much effort.

FEATURES

Long Cassava Fries is absolutely delicious and also nutritious


made from a mash cassava which we especially plant and of
course we produce the best cassava for my product, so it will
satisfy my costumers, yes French fries is really common right
now but you see my product specifically use our local plant
which is cassava and for sure it will make you say
"CASSAVALICIOUS".

SIZE AND SHAPE

My product cheap n' dip cassava fries are serve in a long shape
with a length about 15 cm and with a width of 1 cm,which will
attract more costumers especially kids, you see now this days
fries now are serve as a frozen goods but my product is
essentially much more delicious and nutritious compare to the
classic fries.

To make this long cassava fries ,the main ingredients used with
the product such as cassava are abundant in the place,

 STRATEGY PRICING
The marketing goals of Cheap n’ Dip is to
gain customers and have enough profit to sustain the
business and the goal will be attain by using the marketing
strategy of pricing the products on an affordable price,
pricing the products with low price will not hurt their
wallet and will lead to high demand of customers .
The price of the product is affordable for every everyone
The price of a 9 pieces of Giant and Long Mashed Cassava
Sticks is P15, and if it is P30 then it will be 20 pieces of
long fries with a dip added. This is not heavy in the
consumers pocket for they spend around P10-50 for their
daily snacks in their daily basis.

 SALES STRATEGY
The sales strategy is to build and open new
locations in order to increase revenue. However, this plan
will be implemented when the one ‘’ market tester’’ outlet
showed potential growth. As each individual location will
continue to build local customer base over the first three
years of operation.
 TARGET MARKET
The target market goals of the company to
keep a consistent good performance and operation of the business
is to make or increase awareness for the company, in terms of
brand-awareness, new-product awareness, new location awareness,
with this consumers are aware and updated with the company which
is very important to have a good business operation. Having a
target market marketing strategy can ensure a good performance of
the business.

 POSITIONING STRATEGY
My main focus in marketing will be to increase
customer awareness in the surrounding community.
I will direct all of my tactics and program towards the goal of
explaining who I am and what I am are all about. I will price my

 MARKETING STRATEGY
I will perform the product innovation or the
production method innovation so that the market share will
increase. Also advertising, even though it is expensive yet
it is effective, for the company will encourage more
customers and strengthen their existing customer
relationships for the business will be profitable.
 PROMOTIONAL STRATEGIES
My primary target is to become the best cassava fries
shop in the Sta.Marcela Apayao within next 3 years and also
plan to extend my store or have a branch in around
Apayao ,but first in order for the community to know my
product i will have to promote cheap n'dip through the use
of social media and also poster or signage,and to further
improve my product or service i will have to review the
feedback of my customers.

ACTION PROGRAMS/BUDGET/CONTROLS
The company has steps to follow in able to ensure that
marketing strategies would be achieved. And these are, First,
Taking time and not rushing everything. Making decision in
achieving strategies should be given time because sometimes
rushing leads to bigger problems. Second is in achieving the
strategies of the company everyone should trust each other,
trust is the foundation of company. Everyone in the company
will have one goal, one mission and one vision to achieve. The
persons involve in the company are the one who will handle the
accounting section, financial section, operating section,
technical section and over all of the business, with this it
will have an organized business.

The business aims to achieve a blooming and successful business
in the span of 3 years on the service by giving the best and
good quality products and service to its consumers. The budget
allocated for the business is 10,000 pesos, The 10 thousand
pesos is the starting capital of the business Cheap n’ Dip.
And lastly, in able to achieve the market strategy goals of
the business the business should be controlled by the
management hands on. There is a need of a leader that will
overlook the operation of the business to ensure the success of
the company, and to ensure the goals set by the whole company
will be achieve.

Since our land Sta Marcela Apayao is rich in Cassava,i have


planted it in our garden and while waiting for it to be harvest,i
have to purchase cassava in our local farmers in Abra Village i
have to direct purchase it so i will have a discount.

Instructions

 Peel the cassava. Use a vegetable peeler to save time.


 Slice the cassava into long thin pieces.
 And now mashed the cassava.
 Add the cornstarch, water and other seasonings.
 Mix them altogether. And cut them into your desire size make
it especially long.
 Deep fry the cassava for 10 minutes or until the color turns
light brown. Do not put too many cassava n a batch as it
will take more time for it to be cooked.
 Remove the cassava from the deep fryer or cooking pot and
allow to cool for 5 minutes.
 Put the fried cassava back in the fryer and fry for another
3 minutes.
 Remove the fried cassava and transfer to a plate with paper
towels. Sprinkle some salt to taste, it is more delicious if
you add it with a dip.
 Serve. Share and enjoy!
