Viewing Test Transactions in Developer Center:

There are two ways to view test transactions in Developer Center: Project Overview and Orbital
Dashboard.

Viewing Test Cases within a Project:

Use this option to review the assigned test cases as well as the overall progress of a project. Clients can
go to this page to review their data they’re sending for their test cases.

Note: Test Case Tracking must be turned on, test cases will only capture and show the last test
transaction performed when using the specific matching criteria (test card number, amount, etc.).

1. Login to Developer Center to access your account.

2. Go to Dashboard > Overview.

Note: If multiple projects are listed, select the appropriate project number on the drop-down.

3. The project’s associated test cases are located on the bottom of each tab (Status, Features,
Users, etc.).

4. To view additional information on a specific test case, click on the See Details link to the right.

5. The test case will display the following information in four separate tabs:

Note: The overall status of the test case must show to successfully pass.
• Summary: Displays the test case name, Message Type and any required data (Card
Number, Amount, and additional required fields) to match the test case. The test case
will also display the results under the Successes, Errors, Warnings, Info drop-downs.
o Data that has passed successfully in the test case will display under the
Successes tab.
o Data that did not pass will display under Errors tab. Any data submitted
under this tab must be corrected to pass the test case.
• Request: Displays the test transaction data the client is submitting to Developer Center.
• Response: Displays the response received from the Orbital Gateway.
• MIME Header: Displays the MIME Header information sent to Developer Center.

Optional: All of the test cases can be downloaded, exported, and viewed to an Excel spread sheet by
selecting Export Test Data.

Viewing Test Transactions in the Orbital Dashboard:

If Test Case Tracking is disabled, use this option to view a specific transaction (or group of transactions)
processed in Developer Center that are not necessarily tied to a test case. This can best be described as
a “sandbox” area to view transactions.

1. Login to Developer Center to access your account.

2. Go to the Dashboard drop-down and under Dashboard > Transactions > Orbital
3. The Merchant ID(s) and Time Period fields are required in order to view Orbital test
transactions.
• Merchant ID(s): Any merchant ID’s that are associated with the user’s projects will be
displayed and selected on the drop-down.

• Time Period: Transactions can be searched by the following:

o Last 60 Minutes
o Last 4 Hours
o Last 24 Hours
o Last 7 Days
o Custom Date Range (up to a maximum of a 7 day timeframe)

• Filters (Optional): Transactions can be further narrowed down with the following:
o Tran Ref Numbers
o Project Numbers
o Order ID’s
o Profile ID’s
o Connection User ID’s
o Trace ID’s
Note: Multiple entries can be separated with a comma “,” for each of the filter fields

4. A result of the transactions will display on Orbital Dashboard depending on the search criteria
used. Select the row of the transaction to view.
5. A separate window of the Transaction Details will slide from the right. The transaction(s) will
display the following information in four separate tabs:
• Summary: Displays any related test cases and the results of their tests under the
Successes, Errors, Warnings, Info drop-down.
o Data that has passed successfully in Orbital Dashboard will display under the

Successes tab.
o Data that did not passed will display under the Errors tab.
• Request: Displays the test transaction data the client is submitting to the Orbital
Gateway.
• Response: Displays the response received from the Orbital Gateway.
• MIME Header: Displays the MIME Header information sent to the Orbital Gateway.

Optional: These transactions can be downloaded and exported to a word document by selecting
. Each transaction is separate by the Transaction Reference number and contains the
timestamp, request, and response from the Host.
