Fleet Xpress Details: Isla Puna

Fleet Xpress provides two physical Ethernet connectivity points - one for a corporate VLAN subnet and one for a crew VLAN subnet. The customer can use either port for their vessel network as needed. Both VLANs are assigned IP addresses by Inmarsat. If these IP ranges do not work for the customer's network, they should install a firewall or router to provide a different IP scheme. This would make the Inmarsat subnets internal link networks, and the customer router would perform NAT. The document also provides IP information and configuration details for the corporate and crew subnets.

Fleet Xpress is a managed service. Default it comes with


two physical connectivity points for data traffic. Support Maritime

Both the Corporate and the Crew VLAN is provided with IP addressing from Inmarsat. If these ranges
are not adoptable for the customer’s vessel network, the customer should install a L3 device (e.g. a
firewall or router) to provide different IP schemes or subnet sizes for the internal vessel network. In
this case, the subnets from Inmarsat will act as link networks between Inmarsat and the customer’s
L3 device, and the L3 device will need to NAT-hide the internal vessel networks.
