Tehreek-e-Jafaria 

(TJP)? (Movement for Shia Law) was a Shia militant group in Pakistan, which


was founded in 1979 by Arif Hussain Hussaini. It's creation coincided with the enforcement of
controversial Islamic laws by then President of Pakistan, General Mohammad Zia-ul-Haq. At the
same time, 1979 Iranian Revolution in Shi'a Iran added extra confidence and comfort in the
movement.
Jafaria Students Organization Pakistan, founded in 1997, was the student wing of TJP.
The TJP was banned twice by Pervez Musharraf's government and in January 2002, its leaders
were arrested.[citation needed] The T.J.P. was banned again on November 5, 2011, while Pakistan's Shias
experienced increasing attacks since 2005 by the Pakistani Taliban, Sipah-e-Sahaba, Lashkar-e-
Jhangvi, Jundullah and Jaish-e-Mohammed,[3] According to TJP, Islam is and was the basic ideology
of Pakistan; by deviating this ideology a conspiracy was made to make Pakistan a sectarian state in
the period of General Zia-ul-Haq, a dictator. At this stage, the formation of TNFJ was deemed
necessary for the failure of this conspiracy.

founded by Altaf Hussain in 1984.[4][5] Currently the party is split between 2 main factions. MQM-
London faction is controlled by Altaf Hussain from London, while MQM-Pakistan is run by Khalid
Maqbool Siddiqui based in Pakistan. Its electoral symbol is a kite.

numerical domination of the ethnic Bengalis of East Pakistan (now Bangladesh).

Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani (12 December 1880 – 17 November 1976), shortened as Maulana
Bhashani was an Islamic scholar and political leader in British Raj (now Bangladesh). His political
tenure spanned the British colonial India, Pakistan and Bangladesh periods.
Maulana Bhashani is popularly known with the honorary title Mazlum Jananeta (Leader of the
Oppressed) for his lifelong stance for the poor suffered by establishment.[2] He gained nationwide
mass popularity among peasants and helped to build East Pakistan Peasant Association.[
The Mazdoor Kissan Party (MKP) (Pashto: ‫مزدور^ کسان پارټی‬ Urdu: ‫)مزدور کسان پارٹی‬
("Workers and Peasants Party") is a political party in Pakistan with communist and socialist leanings.

2015 some factions (which had split earlier) joined again to form the Mazdoor Kissan Party.[2] The
current General Secretary is Taimur Rahman. The Pakistan Mazdoor Kissan Party (PMKP)
was a political party in Pakistan founded in 1974 and led by Afzal Shah Khamosh. On 20th of
December 2015 it merged with Peoples Mazdoor Kissan Party forming a new party named Mazdoor
Kissan Party.
The Movement for the Restoration of Democracy (MRD) (Urdu: ‫)اتحاد برائے بحالی جمہوریت‬,
was a historically populist and massive left–wing political alliance formed to oppose and
end the military government of President General Zia-ul-Haq. M.R.D stands for the
movement for the restoration of democracy. This alliance was created in 1981 to oppose Zia.
Awami Muslim League Pakistan (Urdu: ‫ )عوامی مسلم لیگ پاکستان‬is a Pakistani political party formed in
June 2008 by Shaikh Rasheed Ahmad.[1
The Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD) was an alliance of the two then largest
political parties in Pakistan - the Pakistan People’s Party and the Pakistan Muslim League
(N) formed on 3 December 2000. The two parties had been known to be Pakistan’s mainstream
moderate parties, and together represented the majority of Pakistan’s electorate at that time

Peoples Party, its primary objectives and aims were to restoration of the democracy as well as
gaining the civilian control of the military.
The Convention Muslim League (CML) was a faction of the Pakistan Muslim League that split-off
in 1962, in support of the military regime of the President of Pakistan, General Ayub Khan.[1] The
opposition party was known as the Council Muslim League.[1] Convention Muslim League contested
presidential election of Pakistan held in 1965. CML's electoral symbol was a rose.
The Council Muslim League was a faction of the Pakistan Muslim League that divided from
the Convention Muslim League that was supportive of the military regime of the President of
Pakistan Gen. Ayub Khan.[1] Sardar Muhammad Zafarullah, Mian Mumtaz Daultana, Sardar Shauket
Hyat-Khan, Chaudhry Muhammad Husain Chattha, Khawaja Muhammad Safdar and Chaudhry
Zahoor Elahi were prominent leaders of the Council Muslim League.
The Awami National Party (Pashto: ‫عوامي نېشنل ګوند‬, Urdu: ‫;عوامی نيشنل پارٹی‬ Acronym: ANP) is
a secular and leftist Pashtun nationalist political party in Pakistan.[4] The party was founded by Abdul
Wali Khan in 1986 and its current president is Asfandyar Wali Khan, grandson of Bacha Khan,
with Mian Iftikhar Hussain serving as the Secretary-General. Part of the PPP-led cabinet of
the Pakistani government during 2008−13, the ANP's political position is considered left wing,
advocating for secularism, democratic socialism, public sector government, and economic
egalitarianism.[5]
ANP was the largest Pashtun nationalist party in Pakistan between 2008−2013 with influence lying in
the Pashtun dominated areas in and around Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. They governed the province from
2008–2013 but lost to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the assembly election of 2013.

Provincial Autonomy is such a system in which the government of the provinces is


independent from any external influence and does not rely on any of the external forces.
Complete or absolute provincial autonomy means complete sovereignty of the
government of the provinces Pakistan is a federal state.
The Federal Security Force (FSF) was a paramilitary/secret police force created by Zulfiqar Ali
Bhutto, while he was the President of Pakistan. Established in 1972, created as a civil task force of
the federal government, this was used as a substitute to the use of army personnel in day to day
issues of civilian life, ostensibly to assist the civil administration and the police in the maintenance of
law and order without requiring the intervention of the military.[1]
The FSF was disbanded by General Zia-ul Haq after he, in 1977, overthrew the Bhutto government
in a military coup.
