UPUAN

On the subject of corruption and abuse of authority, the music

"Upuan" tackles the ever-present issue of government corruption
and abuse of power, which is used by officials and authorities
to intimidate, threaten, and degrade individuals who are not
doing well in life. Politics is one of the most heinous games in
society. Numerous individuals are dying because of this. They
are assassinating one another for status and power in order to
fulfill their desires. A position that will empower them to do
anything they want, even if it means harming others. Corruption
is a major issue in Philippine politics up until today. And one
of the most vulnerable sectors of our society is the poor. Poor
people have no capacity to counter those politician and rich
people because if you're not rich, they'll look at you as
rubbish. Something that they could hurt and do bad things
anytime they want. They won't understand it unless they put
themselves in the shoes of the poor.

TATSULOK
On the other hand, the song "Tatsulok" addresses the country's
poverty as a primary cause of armed conflict. This is a reference
to the social pyramid hierarchy, in which persons with a higher
social status are at the top and those with a lower social status
are at the bottom. The song demonstrates that while a few elites
continue to live in luxury, most people continue to live in
poverty. Another clear message conveyed by the song is that our
justice system in the Philippines is skewed and in favor of those
in positions that have power and wealth. Our country's problem will
not improve as long as we do not demonstrate sufficient respect and
treatment for one another. If such discrimination against the poor
persists, anarchy would ultimately emerge due to flagrant
violations of human rights.
The central themes of both songs, in addition to their
respective musical styles and genres, are corruption, cultural
disparities, and prejudice in the status of living people.
Depicts the continual upheaval, particularly in our nation,
because a situation like this has remained unsolvable from that
time till the present. Additionally, these two songs
demonstrate the way Filipinos live. This country's problem,
which the government and people are unable to resolve because
they continue to participate in this type of conduct. And I can
state that it is a society disease that is unlikely to be cured,
even if you wish it were.

This type of system, I suppose, is ubiquitous in our society.

Since I was a child, I have been aware of this type of system in
which individuals are discriminated against based on their
socioeconomic status. I, myself, have already had bad
experiences with this matter. My tito died after being salvaged.
The opponent was a wealthy and a prominent guy from our
province. For three years, our family engaged in nothing but a
silent battle. We sued him, but we didn't get the justice we
deserved. For fear of being harmed, we cannot confront and
oppose them. Our country's legal system is very awful, as it is
biased towards the wealthy rather than the poor. Even if they
are at fault, they can atone for their sins due to their
financial resources.
If I were given the power, privilege, and money, my major
objective would be to assist and inspire people. I've wanted to
help others for as long as I can remember. Being self-centered
and wicked is a waste of time, which is why I'm letting the
unfortunate individuals live the life I'm currently living. I
will utilize my power to influence the actions, beliefs, and
conduct of others. I want to be a role model for my peers,
particularly the new generation. Additionally, if given the
opportunity, I will take care not to infringe on others' privacy
or dignity. Privilege is unnecessary for me since everyone,
regardless of financial standing, needs to be treated properly.
We are all equal, in my perspective. Money, in my opinion, is
also a source of both good and bad actions. Due to the
difficulties of life, many people become slaves and allow
themselves to be humiliated and mistreated for the wealthy's
pleasure. As a citizen of our country, I am obligated to help
people in need, particularly children. As someone who thinks
that a person's living situation must not dictate their success,
I wish to empower them in obtaining an education and helping
them to accomplish their ambitions.
