We want to know about you:

A. In a short paragraph tell us about you, giving some

and CURRENT CITY.

1.My name is Laura Vanesa Peña Diaz; I am 19 years old. I am from Guinea Ecuatorial
from the city of Malabo, and I have been arriving and learning English in Nevada and
the city I am currently in is Paradise.

2.My name is Valentina Ortiz Quintero, and I am 20 years old. I am from Guinea Ecuatorial
from the city of Bata, and I have been arriving and learning English in Nevada the city I am
currently in is Henderson.

3.My name is Lino Felipe Gutierrez Esquivel, and I am 25 years old. I am from Guinea
Ecuatorial from the city of San Antonio de Pale, and I have been arriving and learning
English in Nevada the city I am currently in is Las Vegas.
 B. Please, write three touristic places from your hometown and three from the
current city with a little description and some comparision between them.

1.Student. In Malabo the first tourist site is; The Malabo National Park is a very nice, quiet,
extremely clean and well-kept park, its water spaces give a positive energy. The second the
Cathedral of Santa Isabel Built at the end of the 19th century, this cathedral is very beautiful
and well located and the third The Green House It is an icon in the historic center, it is a
beautiful house, one of the few well-preserved buildings. In the city of Paradise the sites are:
High Roller, there is a tour that lasts 30 minutes and you can take photos or video from the
beginning, the second Guardian Angel Cathedral, this church has a different architecture and
is quite beautiful and simple and the Last Mirage Volcano, every hour, you can see how the
volcano erupts and the truth is that it is so well achieved that you have the feeling that it is

tranquility and the culture of this colonial house make it very attractive to tourists, another
incredible place is the promenade there we find the liberta tower, in that tower we find a very
striking and unique restaurant that is revolving, this tower covers a extension of 15 km, from
the beaches of Ukomba to Iyubu, the last place is the beaches of Ukomba there we find
tranquility to share with friends and family.
Tourist sites in my current city Henderson: Cowabunga Bay Water Park is a very fun water
park, it has many attractions where you can spend an unforgettable day with your family and
friends, this park is very large Lion Habitat Ranch is a zoo where you can find a variety of
animals, this place allows you to know about each animal that lives there, in addition to this
the environment is unique and incomparable. Clark County Heritage Museum this site allows
you to know the history of the southernmost county of Nevada, with an emphasis on Native
Americans, Me I really like the city in which I am currently living because there I find many
places of interest and activities, this place has allowed me to study totally free in one of the
best universities in this place, in the same way my hometown is beautiful and there we find
places very nice, but I don't have as many opportunities as in Henderson.

3.Student the first place is Pico Quioveo is an extinct volcanic peak in the center of the island
of Annobón, in the insular part and further south of the African country of Equatorial Guinea.

Example: We decided to participate in this summer camp because we want to study

abroad, learn many things about other cultures and enjoy the advantages of

We have decided to leave our native country which is Equatorial Guinea, to go to North
America in the state of Nevada, in which we plan to participate in a summer camp, to be
able to interact with new people, learn about new cultures, to be able to learn the language
native, which is English, to be able to play, share ideas and practice with them. We decided
to separate within the state of Nevada, since each one of us has a dream to fulfill, for which
we all went to live in different cities, in order to meet again in time to find out about our
stay and lived experience. Felipe went to Las Vegas to know the different ways to have fun
in that city, such as casinos, Valentina went to Henderson to know its theme parks, such as
the zoo and water park for its different species and Laura went to the city of Paradise in
order to taste its gastronomy, know its landscapes and its amusement parks. All in order to
improve ourselves in the intellectual, cultural, educational and labor aspects, to be able to
achieve the pronouncement of the national language and to be able to tell us about our
experiences in the meeting that we are going to carry out after a few years.
