FADE IN:

INT. WUBB CLUB - DAY

ON WUBBZY - he sits at a table eating a huge bowl of

DOODLEBERRIES. He tosses a handful of the berries into
his mouth.

WUBBZY
Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!

He tosses another handful into his mouth.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!

He takes two hands and gobbles down a huge amount of

berries.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
MMM! MMM! MMM! <GULP> Wow Wow Wow!
I just looooove doodleberries!

As Wubbzy continues to eat, WALDEN enters, carrying a BIG

BAG OF GROCERIES.

WALDEN
Greetings, Wubbzy!

WUBBZY
(mouth full)
Wow Wow, Walden...!

Walden removes the groceries from his bag.

WALDEN
Look at all these delicious
vegetables I bought! We have some
kooky carrots and corny-corn and
leafy lettuce. Would you like
some?

WUBBZY
No thanks, Walden. I just like
doodleberries!

(CONTINUED)

WALDEN
You know Wubbzy, if you eat too
many doodleberries, you might just
turn into one!

Wubbzy checks himself in the mirror.

WUBBZY
Nope - I’m still Wubbzy!

Wubbzy looks down into his bowl now, and realizes that
it’s empty!

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Oh no! I’m all out of
doodleberries!

WALDEN
Have some string-a-ding-ding
beans, then.

WUBBZY
No thanks - I’m going to get some
more doodleberries at the grocery
store.

Wubbzy heads out the door.

INT. GROCERY STORE

Wubbzy enters the grocery store, and runs into WIDGET

buying fruit.

WUBBZY
Hi Widget!

WIDGET
Hey there, Wubbzy! Look at all
these delicious fruits I’ve got
here! Happy apples, lemony-lemons
and even bendy bananas!

She holds out a banana to Wubbzy.

WIDGET (CONT'D)
You want one?

Wubbzy shakes his head.

WUBBZY
No thanks! I’m here to get some
doodleberries - lots of ‘em!

Wubbzy surveys the vegetable stand, and sees a gaping

hole where the doodleberries should be.

CONTINUED:

WIDGET
Uh oh, little buddy! It looks
like there aren’t any more
doodleberries.

WUBBZY
(distressed)
No more doodleberries? What am I
going to do?!

WIDGET
Maybe you should try eating some
other foods. Variety is the spice
of life, little buddy.

WUBBZY
I have a better idea! If I can’t
buy any doodleberries here, I’ll
go to the doodleberry patch and
pick them myself!

And with that Wubbzy heads off as Widget warns:

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Be careful, Wubbzy! If you eat
too many doodleberries you might
just turn into one!

Wubbzy shakes his head and exits the store.

EXT. DOODLEBERRY PATCH – DAY

Wubbzy makes his way to the Doodleberry Patch. His mouth

waters in anticipation.

WUBBZY
Mmm, mmm, mmm...I can’t wait to
eat more of those delicious, ripe,
juicy...!

He stops dead as he sees the doodleberry bushes - there

are no berries on them.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
<GASP!> Wow - these doodleberry
bushes are empty! What am I going
to do now?

He slumps, but then perks up with an idea.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
I know! If I can’t find any more
doodleberries, I’ll grow some of
my own!

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

He dashes out of the orchard.

EXT. DAISY’S HOUSE

Wubbzy heads straight for Daisy’s house.

WUBBZY
I’ll ask Daisy to help me – she
can make anything grow!

He continues around to the back of Daisy’s house.

EXT. DAISY’S GARDEN – SECONDS LATER

Wubbzy finds DAISY happily watering her garden.

WUBBZY
Wow Wow, Daisy!

DAISY
Wubbzy! Would you like to meet my
singing sunflowers? This one’s
Trudy...

TRUDY
(sings)
La!

DAISY
and this one’s Beauty...

BEAUTY
(sings higher)
La!

DAISY
And this one’s Edgar -

EDGAR
(sings low and off-
key)
La!

WUBBZY
Say, Daisy, do you have any
doodleberry seeds?

DAISY
Doodleberry seeds? Gee, I’ll bet
I do...

She digs through her BASKET and retrieves one doodleberry

seed.

(CONTINUED)

DAISY (CONT'D)
Here ya go, Wubbzy!

Wubbzy takes the seed and examines it with a frown.

WUBBZY
One seed? This doesn’t look like
it’ll grow too many doodleberries.

DAISY
It will with some Magic Grow
Spray.

WUBBZY
Magic Grow Spray?

TRUDY
(sings)
Magic Grow!

BEAUTY
Magic Grow!

EDGAR
Magic Grow!

Daisy rummages through her basket again and pulls out a

SPRAY BOTTLE.

DAISY
Ah, here it is! Just spray a
little bit of this on the seed and
you’ll get bunches and bunches of
doodleberries!

She hands the bottle to Wubbzy.

WUBBZY
Thanks, Daisy!

Wubbzy runs off.

DAISY
(calling)
Remember! You only need a teeny
tiny bit!

EXT. WUBB CLUB – LATER

Back at the Wubb Club, Wubbzy drops a doodleberry seed

into the ground and covers it with dirt. He looks at the
spray.

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

WUBBZY
Daisy only said I need a teeny
tiny bit.

He squirts a little bit over the seed. One BUSH pops out
of the ground <boing!>, filled with doodleberries.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
It works!

Wubbzy picks a berry and eats it.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Mmm! Delicious!
(thinks)
But you know what? The more
doodleberries, the better!

He douses the ground with a big long squirt of the

formula. Instantaneously, groups of doodleberry bushes
sprout from the ground <boing! boing! boing!>. Before
Wubbzy can react, the bushes cover the yard - they’re
everywhere! Wubbzy smiles wide.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Wow wow wow!

He dives into the doodleberries as Daisy comes running

over.

DAISY
Jeepers! How much of that Magic
Grow Spray did you use, Wubbzy?

Wubbzy pops out of the bush, his face smeared with

doodleberry juice.

WUBBZY
(mouth full)
Oh, just a teensy bit.

Widget and Walden emerge from the Clubhouse.

WIDGET
I never saw so many doodleberries!
I don’t think even you can eat all
these, little buddy!

Walden’s eyes widen as he watches more and more

doodleberry bushes grow.

WALDEN
My my my! What are we going to do
with them all?

Wubbzy finishes a bite of berries.

WUBBZY
<GULP> I know! Let’s have a
doodleberry festival!

DAISY
(excited)
A festival?

WUBBZY
Sure. It will be the first Annual
Doodleberry Day! Let’s go!

DISSOLVE TO:

DOODLEBERRY MONTAGE:

EXT. STREET FAIR- DAY

ON SIGN - which reads “DOODLEBERRY DAY FESTIVAL!!!”

PULL OUT to a bustling STREET FAIR, with doodleberry

activities everywhere.

Widget carries a basket of doodleberries to a food stand,

where they hand it to CHEF FRITZ.

WIDGET
Here’s the last of the
doodleberries, Chef Fritz.

CHEF FRITZ
Ah - thank you!

CHEF FRITZ is cooking for a hungry-looking crowd lead by

Wubbzy and Daisy.

CHEF FRITZ (CONT'D)

Who wants a doodleberry pie?

WUBBZY/DAISY/CROWD
Me!/I do!/Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!

CHEF FRITZ
And here is some doodleberry
soup...And a doodleberry
souffle...

Chef Fritz hands out the doodleberry food to Wubbzy and

his neighbors.

ON - HUGGY, BUGGY and EARL, creating a DOODLEBERRY

SCULPTURE that looks like the Statue of Liberty who holds
a bouquet of doodleberries.

IN THE PARK - we see games of Doodleberry Tossing and

Doodleberry-Bowling while Walden oversees a DOODLEBERRY-
EATING CONTEST.

WALDEN
On your mark! Get set! EAT!

Wubbzy and several others dig into huge bowls of

doodleberries.

ON MAIN STREET - There is a DOODLEBERRY PARADE with

DOODLEBERRY FLOATS. Wubbzy and Daisy toss doodleberries
to the cheering crowd.

END MONTAGE.

EXT. WUBB CLUB – LATER THAT DAY

Wubbzy, Daisy, Walden and Widget return to the Wubb Club,

exhausted but satisfied.

WIDGET
We did it!

DAISY
What a great Doodleberry Day!

WALDEN
I can’t believe we got rid of
every last doodleberry!

They look out at the field where the skeletons of

doodleberry bushes remain. Wubbzy rubs his stomach.

WUBBZY
Wow, I’m stuffed!

He holds up the Magic Grow Spray bottle.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
I won’t need this Magic Grow Spray
anymore!

He tosses the bottle towards the nearby trash can. It

bangs off the rim and falls to the ground. The lid <pops>
open and the Magic Grow Spray spills onto the ground.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Oops!

WALDEN/WIDGET/DAISY
<GASP!>

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

Immediately, new doodleberry bushes sprout everywhere

<boing! boing! boing!>, this time more rapidly than the
first.

WUBBZY
Wow...!

The doodleberries swiftly cover the ground and head down

the hill towards town.

EXT. WUZZLEBURG

The Doodleberry bushes swamp the town -

The FOOD STAND gets surrounded by bushes. Chef Fritz is

trapped inside.

CHEF FRITZ
Help!

THE STATUE OF LIBERTY statue is completely covered.

TRAFFIC is completely blocked, cars <honking> horns

everywhere.

BACK ON WUBBZY - as he and his friends watch from the top

of the hill.

WUBBZY
Oh no! These doodleberries are out
of control! What will we do now?

WALDEN
I guess we’ll just have to eat
them all.

Wubbzy shakes his head, rubs his tummy.

WUBBZY
Ohhhh! I’m sick of eating
doodleberries.

WIDGET/WALDEN/DAISY
So are we!!!

WUBBZY
You were right, Widget – variety
is the spice of life.

WIDGET
(scratches her head)
There must be somebody who can eat
all these here doodleberries.

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

WALDEN
You’d need a mouth as big as a
Stomposaurus!

And Wubbzy gets an idea!

WUBBZY
That’s it! We can take this berry
crop to Dino Island, and feed the
dinosaurs!

WIDGET
Super idea, little buddy! If the
dinosaurs can’t finish these
berries, nobody can!

DAISY
But how are we going to gather up
all those berries?

WUBBZY
This looks like a job for the
Wubbmobile!

CUT TO:

EXT. VARIOUS LOCATIONS

The WUBBMOBILE, armed with mechanical arms, picks berries

off the bushes all over town. Wubbzy mans a vacuum
attachment that sucks in the berries. The berries land
in a BARGE-SIZE CONTAINER hooked to the back of the
Wubbmobile.

ON THE BUSHES - now picked clean. PAN TO - the mountain

of berries in the barge. Wubbzy, sitting atop the
mountain, gives the OK sign to Widget.

WUBBZY
Take it away!

Widget drives the Wubbmobile off, as Wubbzy bounces along

on top of the berries.

EXT. LAKE WUZZLEBURG - CONTINUOUS

The Wubbmobile pulls up to the shore of Lake Wuzzleburg.

WUBBZY
It’s off to Dino Island!

The Wubbmobile TRANSFORMS INTO A TUGBOAT and pulls the

berries across the sea to the island.

EXT. DINO ISLAND – LATER

Wubbzy, Daisy, Widget and Walden stand on top of the

berries as the island’s DINOSAURS come close to see what
is going on.

WUBBZY
Ahoy there! Who wants
Doodleberries?

DINOSAURS
<CHEERING WALLA>

Wubbzy and his friends toss the berries off the barge to
the delighted dinosaurs who catch them and gobble them
up.

DINOSAURS (CONT'D)
<CHEWING>

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. DINO ISLAND - MOMENTS LATER

Wubbzy stands in the empty barge looking out at the happy

and full dinosaurs.

WUBBZY
That’s the last of the
doodleberries!

DINOSAURS
<A COLLECTIVE BURP> Excuse me!/
Beg pardon/etc.

WIDGET
Whew! All that berry-picking has
sure made me hungry!

DAISY
Me too!

WALDEN
Let’s head back to the Wubb Club
for dinner.

WUBBZY
As long as it’s not doodleberries!

WALDEN/WIDGET/WUBBZY/DAISY
<LAUGHTER>
 12.

EXT. WUBB CLUB – THAT EVENING

With everything back to normal, Wubbzy, Widget, Walden

and Daisy sit down at a picnic table covered with BOWLS
OF VEGETABLES AND FRUITS. Wubbzy digs into a big plate
of leafy lettuce.

WUBBZY
Mmm! Mmm! Mmm! These veggies are
great!

WIDGET
Try a snappy apple!

DAISY
Pass the corny-corn, please!

As he and his pals enjoy their dinner, we see the KOOKY

KID walk by, pouring a bowl of doodleberries into his
mouth <munch, munch!>

WUBBZY
(calling to Kooky
Kid)
Hey, be careful! If you eat too
many doodleberries you might just
turn into one!

Wubbzy <chuckles> at his little joke, but then -

SFX: <BLOOP!>

- the Kooky Kid turns into a GIANT DOODLEBERRY!

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Wow!

And the Kooky Doodleberry adds:

KOOKY KID
Kooooky!
