Word of the Lord 2019 : Advance Boldly!

Take new ground to extend God's Kingdom!
Advance boldly to take new ground to extend God's Kingdom!

You have Kingdom power and authority vested in you.
The powers of darkness cannot hold you back or pin you down.
The forces of the enemy cannot restrain you or contain you.
The Greater One is in you.
God's power through you is more than what the devil can handle.
Matthew 16:18-19
18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the
gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will
be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
Let's make this our declaration:

I advance boldly to take new ground to extend God's Kingdom!
I have Kingdom power and authority vested in me.
The powers of darkness cannot hold me back or pin me down.
The forces of the enemy cannot restrain me or contain me.
The Greater One is in me.
God's power through me is more than what the devil can handle.
explanation of Matthew 16:18-19

Peter Greek 'petros' = a piece of a larger rock
rock Greek 'petra' = a mass of rock . On this revelation/truth that Jesus is the Christ the Son of
the living God
the gates of hell = the power centers of demonic domination
keys of the Kingdom = the power and authority of the Kingdom of God
Four instructions
#1 : Identify your territory
#2 : Position yourself in faith
#3 : Receive divine strategies
#4 : Advance boldly! Take possession!
Genesis 13:14-15

14 And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: "Lift your eyes now and
look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward;
15 for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.
Some specific area on the "seven mountains": Religion, Family, Business, Arts & Entertainment,
Media, Education, Government
Know the territory God has appointed for you to conquer - personal walk with God, family life,
professional life, ministry, etc.
What are the areas of demonic domination that God wants you to conquer for His Kingdom.
Get ready on the inside.
Get rid of destiny blockers - unbelief, disobedience, strife, rebellion, self, pride, fleshly lusts, etc.
Hebrews 3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
See the invisible
Hebrews 11:13-16
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off
were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims
on the earth.
14 For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland.
15 And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they
would have had opportunity to return.
16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to
be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
They SAW the promises

They were ASSURED of the promises
They EMBRACED the promises
They CONFESSED the promises
Always operate out of your identity in Christ, out of who you are in God and who God is in you.
Receive ideas from the Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 2:9-12
9 But as it is written: "EYE HAS NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NOR HAVE ENTERED INTO THE
HEART OF MAN THE THINGS WHICH GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM."
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes,
the deep things of God.
11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even
so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we
might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
Prayer is a strategy all of us can use.

Life-Influence (being salt and light) may be a strategy.
New initiatives may be a strategy.
Establishing Kingdom presence through a Bible study, a seminar, sharing Christian literature, etc.
may be a strategy.
Demonstrating the supernatural is a strategy all of us can use.
There are just innumerable ways God can use each of us to advance boldly to take new ground
to extend His Kingdom.
A) Get up! Go out!

Genesis 12:1-4
1 Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family And from your
father's house, To a land that I will show you.
2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a
blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families
of the earth shall be blessed."
4 So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was
seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.
B) Go forward!
Exodus 14:15-17
15 And the LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go
forward.
16 But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of
Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
17 And I indeed will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. So I will gain
honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, his chariots, and his horsemen.
C) Refuse compromise
Hebrews 11:24-26
24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter,
25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing
pleasures of sin,
26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to
the reward.
Satan tempted Jesus, offered Him a 'short cut'...just fall down and worship me and all this will be
yours....
D) Take possession by faith

Hebrews 11:8
By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as
an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
E) Occupy till He comes

Luke 19:11-13
11 Now as they heard these things, He spoke another parable, because He was near Jerusalem
and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately.
12 Therefore He said: "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a
kingdom and to return.
13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do
business till I come.'
Luke 19:13 (KJV)

And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy
till I come.

The is a simple guide for use in Life Group discussions. Our objective is to focus on the
application of the Sunday sermon - how each one is becoming a doer of the Word and building
their life on God's Holy Word. The Life Group meeting would normally last for 2 hours. Each Life
Group would have up to 12-15 people.
Preparation
To prepare for the Life Group meeting, you can listen to the Sermon Key Points (sermon
summary in five minutes) or the full length Sunday sermon. You can also review the Sunday
Sermon notes. All these are available in the "All Peoples Church Bangalore" mobile App or online
at apcwo.org/sermons . Pray for the Life Group meeting and invite the work and ministry of the
Holy Spirit.
Welcome
The Life Group meeting may commence with a time of prayer, worship and a fun activity.
LISTEN to God's Word

Read the following Scripture passages: Matthew 16:18-19
INVESTIGATE God's Word Together

Please discuss a few of these together, giving time for people to share their insights. We
encourage each one individually to make notes of their personal learning during the Group
discussion.
1) Review the Word of the Lord for 2019 "Advance Boldly!", and the four action points related to
this.
2) Share areas where you could apply the Word of the Lord 2019 and the four action points in
your life personally.
3) Is there anything else that God has put on your heart for you to work on personally - share
that as well if you'd like.
If time permits, each one takes a few (3 minutes max) to share one or two key learning and how
they see themselves applying it into their specific life situations. Encourage each one to
participate and share.
FELLOWSHIP by sharing your life and spiritual journey

Each one takes a few (3 minutes max) to share anything from their walk with God, something
God has been teaching them, a testimony of answered prayer or a specific challenge that they
would like prayer for. Encourage each one to participate and share.
ENCOURAGE each other by praying and ministering to one another

Get into small groups of two or three and take turns to thank God and pray for each other in the
light of what was learnt today. Listen to the Holy Spirit. Expect the gifts of the Holy Spirit to flow
bringing healing, releasing miracles, prophecy, etc.
Regroup and pray together for:

1, families to be protected and strengthened
2, a mighty outpouring of God's Holy Spirit on us as a church and through us to bless many
others in our city and nation. Nothing but a mighty work of God's Spirit can change our city and
nation.
3, for the BUILD TO IMPACT project - for God's hand to guide us through the land search and
acquisition process, and for finances to be more than enough to get this project done.
Close by thanking God together.
