“Much” means ‘large
in amount or extent’. It
is preceded by
comparative degree
and past participle.
Examples:-

● They both talk too much.
● He is much interested in the
project.

We use a Possessive Adjective (my,
our, his, her, their, your) before a
Gerund.
Comparison between two qualities of an object:
Examples:-

● This book is heavier than larger.
● This shirt is more white than
red.
● This umbrella is more beautiful
than strong.
Use of “too much” and “much
too”:
The possessive case is used after
“all” and “both”.
Consider these examples:-
