ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS.

1. IN YOUR OWN WORDS (NOT LESS THAN 250 WORDS) DEFINE THE WORD. ETHICS.

The words morals and ethics are often used in daily conversation. For example, when public officials use
their offices for personal profit or when politicians accept bribes from special interest groups, they are
described as unethical. When an individual does a good deed, engages in charitable activities or
personal sacrifice, or takes a stand against wrongdoing, we might describe that individual as a moral
person.

Often, the terms morals and ethics are used interchangeably. This makes sense because both come from
similar root meanings. The Greek word ethos pertains to custom (behavioral practices) or character, and
the term morals is a Latin-based word with a similar meaning.

Morals are principles of right and wrong. Ethics is the discipline of determining good and evil and
defining moral duties.

The term duties refers to those actions that an individual must perform to be considered moral. Values
are defined as elements of desirability, worth, or importance. You may say that you value honesty;
another way of saying it is that one of your values is honesty.

Certain values hold special relevance to the criminal justice system and those professionals who work
within it. These include privacy, freedom, public order, justice, duty, and loyalty.
2. IN AN ESSAY TYPE, DESCRIBE YOUR BEHAVIOUR BY USING AN OBJECT. (NOT LESS THAN 300 WORDS)

Kung ako naman ay mamimili ang isang bagay na maari kong ihalintulad sa aking sarili, ang bagay na ito
ay ang salamin. may mga katangian ang salamin na bagay ihalintulad sa aking pagkatao. Una sa lahat,
alam natin na ang salamin ay nagbibigay ng replekson sa ating mga sarili, tulad ko bilang isang tao, para
lang din akong salamin na kung anung mga bagay o pag uugali ang pinapakita ng ibang tao saakin at
kung papaano nila ako ituring at itrato, ganun din ang ipapakita ko sa kanila. Ang salamin din ay isang
bagay na babasagin, na kapag nabasag, buuin mo man ulit ito ay meron at meron ka paring lamat ng
basag na makikita mula rito, gaya lang din yan ng aking pagtitiwala at pagmamahal sa isang bagay o tao
na kapag nagkaroon ng lamat ang aming tiwala sa isa’t isa, ito ay mahirap na muling buuin o ayusin, at
kung ito man ay mabuo pa, hindi na ito gaya ng dati kong pagtitiwala na buong buo parin. Sa harap din
ng salamin natin binabanggit ang mga tanong gaya ng "Gwapo ba ako?”,”ganun naba ako kapangit?”,
“Ok naba itong suot ko o bagay ba saakin itong damit na ito?” at iba pang mga katanungang madalas na
tinatanong sa isang kaibigan, gaya ko, sasagutin ko ang mga katanungang gaya nito na hindi makakasakit
sa kanya bilang isang kaibigan. Ang salamin din ay maituturing din na bestfriend ng mga babae,
karamihan kasi sa mga babae ay conscious sa kanilang mga hitsura kaya lagi silang may dala-dala nito.
Isa pang bagay na kaparehas ko sa salamin ay ang pasasabi ng totoo, gaya ng salamin, kung anong
mukha ang ihaharap mo rito yon at iyon pa rin ang ipapakita sayo wag kang umasang pag di ka ganon
kagandahan at pag humarap ka sa salamin ay maganda ka na? anu ka siniswerte. Gaya nga ng isang
salamin nagsasabi lang ako ng totoo.

Ito ang mga bagay na maiihalintulad ko sa aking sarili sa mga katangian ng salamin. Mga ugali at mga
katangiaan na meron sa isang salamin, positibo man o negatibo.
