EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The main goal of Macukies is to provide cheap but delicious desserts to our customers.
The business aims to be considerate in terms of the price and production. As much as possible,
we try to lower the price range of our products since most of our customers will be students. This
business plan will serve as a guide for the business as it starts to operate. It will also serve as the
basis of the business in case there is something to enhance, change, and/or improve. Before the
business plan was created, there are factors that we considered such as the taste of our possible
customers, and what might be the essential or helpful strategies that will particularly help in the
growth of both individual and organization. The target profit of the business is to earn 5% higher.
To maintain or surpass the target profit, the business should focus on providing services and
good quality of products to customers. We will also look and pay attention on some concerns
regarding the services we provide that may affect our business. Some of these are the price,
target market, and the location where the business will be established. All these aspects are not
only being monitored by the President and Manager but also the staff and all of the employees
operating the business.

I. INTRODUCTION
Macukies is a business that was planning to sell macaroons, cupcakes and cookies. This
business offers different variety of goods that can satisfy the cravings of each customers in terms
of finding sweet desserts. Macukies is not the typical type of stores or bakery that offer different
dessert that depends on the seasons. It is a business wherein it sells only three sweets, but you
will surely love the different flavors that this business offers.

1.1 COMPANY BACKGROUND


Macukies is a new business that was planning to build, to satisfy the target customers.
This business offers three types of desserts which are Macaroons, Cupcakes and Cookies that
will give its customer the taste that they are looking for their desserts after eating their main dish.
The name of the business was based from its offerings. Ma for macaroons, Cu for cupcakes and
Kies for cookies. One of our goal is provide cheap but delicious desserts.

1.2 MISSION STATEMENT


“Dessert is probably the most important stage of the meal, since it will be the last thing your
guests remember before they pass out all over the table”. This quote inspires all of us at
Macukies to innovate and create the finest, and indulgent macaroons, cupcakes and cookies in
serving our customers. We nurture the idea that our offerings will be enjoyed by different
students, families, and workers.

We at Macukies choose to be the most passionate workers that can set the standard taste of
each macaroons, cupcakes and cookies here in Angeles City and eventually around the globe.
Our passion for sustainable and pure ingredients and unwavering commitment to always exceed
the expectations of our customers.

1.3 VISION

To become the most preferred shop that sells desserts in Angeles City and eventually around
the globe. Macukies will provide that satisfaction in every customer that will come thru to test
our desserts. Macukies chiefs will put all their efforts and hard work to give the best quality of

desserts that every Filipino must have at the end of their meal since, it was the last things that
every people do before leaving the table.

1.4 OWNERSHIP
The business will be owned by four people, namely Daniel Pangan as the manager,
Christine Danganan as the assistant manager, Joanna Garcia as the HR manager, Aira Sy as the
accountant supervisor. They will share ₱100,000 as the building capital of the Macukies
business.

II. MARKETING SITUATION
A business will be successful if marketing situation which consists of geographic and
demographic is prioritized. These are the most important aspects in putting up a business. It will
also reflect on the marketing performance of a business.

2.1 GEOGRAPHIC
Macukies will uphold its store inside Holy Angel University which is located at Brgy.
Sto. Rosario, Angeles City, Pampanga. The school itself approximately have 20,000 students
enrolled which makes it one of the biggest private Catholic School in Central Luzon. The school
can be an advantage in our business wherein we can acquire our expected profit with its large
population.

III. SWOT ANALYSIS


This type of analysis will pilot newly established businesses in the development of its
performance and for the long-term operation of the business. It is also a guide to determine what
can harm or what is good for the business.

IV. COMPETITVE ANALYSIS


Competitive analysis is a statement of the business strategy and how it relates to the
competition. The purpose of the competitive analysis is to determine the strengths and
weaknesses of the competitors within your market, strategies that will provide you with a distinct
advantage, the barriers that can be developed to prevent competition from entering your market,
and any weaknesses that can be exploited within the product development cycle.
COFFEE ACADEMY
A branch of this café is located inside the University. It is not just known for its coffee,
but it is also known for its desserts. Coffee Academy is one of the famous dessert café in the
Philippines along with café bean and Starbucks. However, the prices of their products were not
affordable.
SCHOOL CANTEENS
Some of the canteens at the university also offers a different variety of desserts. Some
canteens sell desserts with their own twists and unique packaging. The prices are more
affordable and student friendly unlike in cafes and dessert bar/shop.

V. OBJECTIVES
Macukies’ strategic objectives are set to make the business profitable and known to
the customers, especially at Holy Angel University. These goals made by the business
are not merely to expand its profit but to also deliver the proper service to its customers.
5.1 FINANCIAL OBJECTIVES
 Gain more profit than the expenses
 A more diversified revenue base
 Increase net profit margins
 Have sufficient money for the expenses

Macaroons Cupcakes Cookies


Giving free taste to customers will be one of our strategy. This will give
customers an idea of what our own macaroons, cupcakes and cookies taste like aside
from promoting through flyers and social media
6.2 Price
The price of our macaroons is 10 pesos, cupcakes is 12 pesos and cookies is 5
pesos. The customers may choose from different flavors that we will have and will be
available.

6.3 Place
Macukies will sell macaroons, cupcakes and cookies at 2nd floor, room 206 in
Peter G. Nepomuceno building, located at Holy Angel University in Angeles City,
Pampanga. The store itself is a classroom and students will provide service to the
customers.
6.4 Promotion
The strategic plans that the business will use to promote its products are the following:
- Flyers
- Social Media (Fb page, twitter and instagram)
- Advertisements
