1. A Comparative Analysis of Job Satisfaction Between CPA and Non-CPA Employees in Pampanga

This study about “A Comparative Analysis of Job Satisfaction Between CPA and Non-CPA
Employees in Pampanga” aims to know the difference between the level of satisfaction among licensed
accountants and non-CPAs in their workplace. To identify the comparative difference, this research will
seek answers to these following questions.

1. How may the respondents be described in terms of:

1.2 Gender
1.3 Religion
1.4 License
1.4.1 CPA
1.4.2 Non-CPA
1.5 Education
1.5.1 Bachelor Degree
1.5.2 Advanced Degree
1.6 Number of Years Working
1.7 Type of Accounting Profession
1.7.1 Public Accountant
1.7.2 Corporate Accountant
1.7.3 Government Accountant
1.7.4 Self-Employed Accountant
1.8 Employer Size
1.8.1 Less than 50 employees
1.8.2 50 or more employees

2. How may these following factors affect employees level of job satisfaction?
2.1 Benefits received
2.2 Relationship with the other employees
2.3 Company appreciation
2.4 Gender and Religious diversity
3. Is there a significant correlation between Job Satisfaction and Continue Working for Current
Employer?

Instrument

Moreover, the questionnaire used consisted of the following six sections:

Section A. Demographic information

Section B. Satisfaction in Benefits Received

Section C. Satisfaction in Relationship with other Employees

Section D. Satisfaction in Company Appreciation

Section E. Satisfaction in Gender and Religious Diversity

Section F. Impact of Job Satisfaction to the Continuous Working for Current Employer

To reliably measure the level of Job satisfaction, open-ended type of questionnaires, modified from the
research instrument of a related study of Moyes, et al. (2008) about the View of Comparative Analysis of
Employee Job Satisfaction in the Accounting Profession was used.

2. The Effect of Accounting Records on Performance of Business Organization

This could be due to the owners' or managers' lack of understanding of accounting practices. It was
also difficult to determine if full accounting records were kept that satisfied the regulations under which
it was incorporated. It was difficult to figure out what to do. To what extent is there a lack of adherence
to established accounting procedures and what role does this play in the implementation of a good
accounting system? The study “The Effect of Accounting Records on Performance of Business
Organization” aims at investigating the financial reports of selected companies in the Philippines with a
view to determine the following ;

1. The extent to which a standard financial report contributes to or detracts from the growth of
a business organization.
2. The extent to which the financial reports of business organization comply with statutory
provisions.
3. The uniformity and conflict which exist in the financial reporting regulations given the
multiplicity of regulators. Therefore, used on the above statements, the researcher shall
investigate the financial accounting reporting standards and every regulation their bear on the
financial statement and to the extent the selected company (s) has either complied with or
disobeyed the relevant statutes

Instrument

The study was adapted and modified by another study “The Analysis of the impact of Accounting
Records Keeping on the Performance of the Small Scale Enterprises” by Onaolapo Adekunle Abdul-
Rahamon, PhD (2014). The questionnaire is seek to investigate the financial reports of selected
companies in the Philippines.

3. Comparative study between manual and computerized accounting

Manual accounting system takes a long time to complete. Errors of the in the banking industry,
commission and omission are fairly common. Transactions are laborious, inconvenient, and unpleasant.
Accounts are easy to reconcile since each ledger has information in a logical order manner.

The speed with which accounting is done was agreed upon by Frank and Sangester (1999). A
computerized accounting system can retrieve balance sheets, income statements, and other financial
information. Managers can quickly identify and fix problems. In banks, (volume of operations) and
profitability are important factors. To identify the comparative difference, this research will seek
answers to these following questions.

1. How may the respondents be described in terms of:

1.2 Gender

1.3 Religion

2. What are the advantage of accounting system in terms of:

2.1 Manual Accounting

2.2 Computerized Accounting

3. What are the common problems will run into the:

3.1 Manual Accounting

3.2 Computerized Accounting

Instrument

The study was adapted and modified by another study “Computerized vs. Non-computerized
Accounting System of Small and Medium Enterprises in Lipa City, Philippines: A Comparative Analysis”
as its major data gathering instrument. The questionnaire has 3 parts; the first part is on the profile
of the business; the second part is about the accounting system performance; while the third part
contains the items on the problems encountered.
