R5000.00 (Five Thousand Rand) refundable deposit payable by EFT ONLY
Printed proof of payments made by EFT & deposits will only be accepted by emails sent directly from your bank.
No private emailed proofs or printed proofs will be accepted.
Balance of payment is strictly by EFT
No receipts will be issued unless the payment reflects in Obiflex (Pty) Ltd Trust FNB Bank Account.

2. VAT
VAT of 15% will be charged on all items. All bids exclude VAT, which will be added to the buyer’s invoice.

3. BUYER’S PREMIUM
A Buyer’s Premium of 15% (Excluding VAT) will be levied on all items purchased.

4. PAYMENT
All purchases are to be paid in full strictly by EFT only.
NO CASH PAYMENTS ARE TO BE DONE TO OBIFLEX

6. DISPATCHING TIMES
Clients will be invoiced on Friday 27th May
Collection: STRICTLY Friday 27th May 9am – 3pm and Monday 30th May 9am - 4pm

4. We have a maximum bid facility that can be set to automatically bid for you until a
maximum amount. Your Maximum Bid can't be viewed publicly, so only you will
know how high you're willing to go.

5. Once the bidding is closed, we will contact you to either refund your deposit if you
were an under bidder or assist you further if you were the highest bidder.

ONLINE BIDDING - WHAT TO KNOW

Ÿ At High Street Assets Cape Town our online auctions have a SOFT CLOSE to prevent individuals from
entering a bid at the very last second before a LOT closes, with the intent to prevent others from bidding
higher. The first 25 Lots will begin to close at the scheduled end time of the online auction, 2 minutes later, the
following 25 lots will close and 2 minutes later the following 25, and this pattern will continue through all the
lots.
Ÿ Any bids on any lot within the last minute will extend the closing time by 5 minutes.
Ÿ The lot will not close until bidding is static for 5 minutes.
Ÿ The lot is officially closed when the "SOLD" notice appears on the lot number. The lot end times may vary
from auction to auction.

MAXBIDS
Ÿ You tell us your absolute maximum price by entering the figure in the 'maxbid' box on the lot page and click
'place bid'. Be sure to read the terms and click the 'Confirm' button when it appears to ensure your bid is
placed.
Ÿ Our technology will place your bids at the next available increment to keep you in the lead, but only up to your
max price and never any further. If another bidder has a maxbid higher than yours, this would also cause the
bid to jump up to your maxbid.
Ÿ If the bidding passes your maximum amount, then you may miss out on winning the item.
Ÿ However, we'll notify you via the App (or you can request that an email be sent to you, in case you are not
logged into the App) so you can increase your maxbid if you wish.

STAR YOUR FAVOURITE ITEMS

Ÿ If you are interested in a Lot, you can click on the STAR button and only these lots will appear in your My
Items List. This makes it easy for you to track only the lots you are bidding on.

CONNECTION
