Complete prior to the start of training
❏ Ensure your EN-2DBC has power using a 12VDC power supply with a minimum of 650mA current (1,000mA
preferred) available or via a PoE or PoE+ switch (see page 1 for link setting related to PoE source)
❏ Confirm your readers are wired per the provided wiring diagram(s) and that the reader slide switch is set correctly
for each reader (“C” for 20mA AMAG readers or “W” for Wiegand readers)
❏ Have a 2-conductor cable (shorted) or a toggle switch (in the closed position) connected to the Door inputs and to
General Inputs 1 & 2.
❏ The default normal condition for these inputs is “normally closed” thus will need to go to the “open” state
for Symmetry to simulate the door opening or monitor points going into alarm.
❏ Connections to the door release and general purpose relays is not required for this training.
