    JW BROADCASTING VIA SATELLITE

    This service is only available in sub-Saharan Africa. Selected


    JW Broadcasting videos are broadcast in Chichewa,
    Cibemba, English, French, Nigerian Pidgin, Portuguese,
    Swahili, and Zulu.

    Obtain the equipment:


    1 Display (television or projector)
    2 DVB-S2 satellite decoder box
    1
    3 Satellite dish
    4 Ku band universal low-noise block (LNB)
    downconverter
    5 Coaxial cable (< 30m) used to connect the LNB to
    the decoder box
    6 HDMI or composite video cable used to connect
    the decoder box to the display Eutelsat 7B Coverage Map

    Program the satellite decoder box:

    1 Satellite: Eutelsat 7B (7 degrees East)
    2 LNB frequency: Universal
    3 Frequency: 12603.75 MHz
    4 Symbol rate: 30.000 mbps
    5 Polarity: Horizontal

    6 Forward error correction (FEC): 2/3

    7 Channel name: JW Broadcasting

    Align the satellite dish:


    1 Visit https://www.satbeams.com/footprints?beam=8152
    2 Determine the following for your location:
    a. Elevation angle
    b. LNB tilt
    c. True azimuth
    3 Adjust your dish to get the best signal

    Required dish size for your location can be determined by visiting
    https://www.satbeams.com/footprints?beam=8152.

    Some decoders may list this satellite as Eutelsat W3. If neither satellite is listed, choose any Ku band satellite and edit
    the frequency and symbol rate.

    Some decoders may not require this value.

    Perform a “blind scan” on the decoder box if JW Broadcasting is not listed.
