The development of science and technology in the Philippines. I heard from the reporters
discussion, explaination, and also i was read the historical content about the science, technology
AMD nation building in the Philippines. The science amd technology we know theres many
improvements in the philippines, like we can connect to each other, we can get informations
from the televisiom to make people in the communities or barangay aware from the calamities,
we can transfort to other places or region, and especially to make places or barangay advance or
preventing from the hazards ect, and to make awareness from the calamities.

The role of science and technology in Philippines nation building. Because in the
Philippines there is many technology but almost they dont know how to use exactly that
technology particullarly in the islands.

B 1. How do you relate the above ideas/concept/input to the present set-up/structure of the
education system at the local/ regional/national level (at least minimum of 75 words and
maximum of 100 words per items category)
A. Introduction
The state of science and technology determines part of the socio-economic progress of a
country. It is a well-known fact that national progress is highly correlated to the capacity of a
country to produce local industrial goods for domestic needs and that industrialization is very
much dependent on the capacity of a country tousle science and technology to process locally
found raw materials into high tech products and tools for households and other users.
Physics being the most basic among the sciences must, therefore, be given important
attention for a country to produce modern tools and products that can be used in other fields and
activities. Given the right perspective, physics is an indispensable tool for farmers to improve
their yield and modernize agriculture. Physics education shall do away the unscientific and
superstitious beliefs of many Filipinos about their surroundings.
As practitioners and experts in physics, physicists are part of the broader S&T sector that
must be mobilized towards national progress where the Filipino people can enjoy the fruits of
modern science. Hence, physicists and physics educators must unite among themselves in order
to contribute to the realization of the democratic aspiration of the Filipino people. This unity can
be achieved through an organization that conducts physics research that aims to advance
domestic production of important tools, materials, and equipment that is currently imported from
multinational and transnational corporation and promote physics education to as broad
population as possible.
B. Summary
The influence of science and technology in the development of the Philippines as a country
even before the time of Spanish colonization in the Philippines various people and communities
already practice science. They invented tools and build structure, studied the medicinal uses of
plants and animals, observed heavenly bodies to predict seasons and climates they using science
in preparing the soil for the Agricultural purpose.
C. Implication
The important of science and technology in a given society cannot be under-estimated. It is
a well-known fact that no nation can develop without advancing in the areas of science and
technology, it's hold the key to the improve and development of every societies in the
Philippines. Technology are the Improvement of the quality of life and real economic growth,
and it half us to make work or job easily to do it by using technology. The sciences and
technology play an important role in sustaining a long term growth of the country. In the
Philippines development plan 2017 to 2022.
Science and technology have undoubtedly made our life easier and faster. Almost
everything we see around us is the gift of science and technology, whether it is smartphones,
fans, electricity, radio, television, laptops, cloth, paper, etc. We need science and technology in
every area of our life. We must always hope to make an effort and ensure that inventions and
discoveries in these areas are always used in the interest of the entire human race and to make the
world a better place for you.
Science and technology have facilitated human life and made us feel comfortable and
enabled us to live in a modern way of life. With the help of things like microwaves, fans,
smartphones, and cars, science and technology have made cooking, sleeping, and communicating
and transportation easier and faster. We also use technology to communicate with other people
around the Philippines or the globe and share information, clean our clothes, prepare our meals,
move from one place to another.
D. Synthesis
Before the coming of Spaniard colonizers the earliest people inhabitants of the archipelago
had their own culture and tradition, they had their own belief system and indigenous system, and
the science in pre-Spanish Philippines, is embedded in the way of life of the early people,
scientific knowledge is observed in the way they plant their crops that provide them food, in
taking care of animal to help them in their daily tasks, and science is observed in the way the
interpret the movement of heavenly bodies to predict seasons and climates, and discovered the
medical used of plants, and technology is used by the people in building a houses and irrigation
and in developing tools that they can used in everyday life, to developed tools for planting,
hunting, cooking, fishing, and for fighting their enemies during the war or tribal conflict,
E. Conclusion
In conclusion, we must admit that science and technology have led human civilization to
achieve perfection future in living. However, we must utilize everything in science and
technology. Most importantly, how we can do all this in a short time are because of the
advancement of science and technology only. It is hard to imagine our life now without science
and technology. Indeed our existence itself depends on it now. Every day new technologies are
coming up which are making human life easily and more comfortable. Thus, we live in an era of
science and technology.
F. Recommendation
Continue providing students with access to the basic technologies that are most important to
their educational studies. Continue use the science and technology for imptoving there
mentality, skill, and especially in the Philippines we need a science and technology to improve
and develop our societies, becuase technology brougth a deep impact in the society, and in the
field of education the effects is enormouse. A large portion of the glove was totally automated by
technology. Eliminate classroom bans of student Build, collaborative partnerships across
campus to increase awareness and better meet the needs of students with disabilities who require
adaptive technologies.
