When I think about how I began my apprentice-

ship at Bellmer at the age of 16, I would never have
dreamt that I could become a vice-president without
a university degree. Now it seems second nature to
be coordinating 50 containers with Russian customs
officers in St. Petersburg, chartering ships for deli-
veries to the hinterlands of South Africa or prepa-

regulations of South America or China. When I want
to switch off, I look forward to spending time with
my family or diving with friends…
