Grammar. Verb to be (Verbo ser o estar)
Affirmative + (Is-Are-Am). Se forma con el pronombre y verbo to
be
Subject+ verb be
I am= Yo soy o yo estoy
You are =Tu eres o tu está
We are = Nosotros somos o nosotros estamos
They are= Ellos son o ellos están
She is= Ella es o ella está
He is=El es o el está
It is= Esto es o esto está

Negative (-) (isn’t-aren’t-am not). Se forma con el pronombre y el


verbo to be en negative.
I am not=Yo no soy o yo no estoy
You arent= you are not
We arent= we are not
They arent= They are not
She isnt= She is not
He isnt= He is not
It isnt= It is not

Yes/ no questions. Las preguntas se realizan escribiendo el verbo


to be (IS-ARE_AM + subject). We use are in plural and is in
singular.

Possessive adjectives. (Los adjetivos posesivos siempre van
acompañado de un sustantivo). His se utiliza para el masculino y
her se utiliza para el femenino. Their se utiliza para el plural.
Possessive adjective + noun
My book= mi libro
Your house=tu casa
His name is Luis=su nombre
Her name is Maria=su nombre
Their parents are friendly= sus padres son amistosos.

1-Complete the sentences using a possessive adjective.

Grammar. Subject es el pronombre o sujeto, be es el verbo ser o
estar y adjective es el adjetivo o cualidad.
Este tema se utiliza para aprender a realizar oraciones en inglés,
para describir personas, animales o cosas.

Explicacion del tema.
Subject es el sujeto o pronombre, be es el verbo ser o estar, article,
son los artículos un o una, adjective es el adjetivo o cualidades y noun
es el sustantivo o el nombre de todas las cosas que nos rodean.
Article: A significa un o una. An significa un o una.
An se utiliza cuando la palabra comienza en vocal y
A se utiliza cuando la palabra comienza en consonante.
Example. A book=un libro An engineer=un ingeniero

1-Circle the correct word or phrase in parentheses.
