Seeking blessing / power / gifts / But not so many hungry for righteousness Change in priority… There is higher value for righteousness The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Chapter 16 – Personal Greeting and Benediction – Personal Relationship – valuable in the sight of God. You are not a number. 1 – 8 – Spiritual Pilgrimage and destination is Romans 8 where it is a Spirit controlled life which is liberty joy and peace in the Holy Spirit. 1-7 Stages on the way to the destination. The revelation in roman letter was a part of that. 2 Epistles which Paul is the only author: romans and ephesians Not an accident for it contains a revelation uniquely the revelation of Paul. Romans is the revelation of the gospel and Ephesians is the revelation of the church. In these areas where Paul gave an absolute unique contribution to the whole Christian Church. He calls himself as a slave… not as a bishop or ptr Particular area of Apostleship is the revelation of the Gospel. Verse 5 – through Him we received Grace and Apostleship, before the apostleship comes grace. Paul is very careful not at anytime to promote himself. An apotles to the gentiles Romans 15:18-19 – to bring the Gentiles to believe in Jesus and with the attestation of the supernatural. Obedience of the faith – not obedience only but obedience should proceed from faith or else it wont work. You are trying to obey God in your own strength, in your own ability, which results to frustration. Emphasize obedience but it must proceed from faith. Paul was praying fro a long while for a good journey to Rome. I may have a prosperous journey by the will of God. Prosperity is the will of God but don’t define prosperity as the modern culture how they define prosperity. Prosperity is being define us being totally equipped to do the will of God. When you have successfully done the will of God you have prospered. Bitten by a snake maybe in a shipwreck don’t let that disturb you. What matter is are you doing the will of God.
