Jaffy: Greetings with love and a great day for Everyone!

Welcome and thank you very much for

joining us today! Today we celebrate the 17th anniversary of OpenStreetMap! 17th year of
Awesome mapping! 17th Years of Community!  I am Jaffy and I will be with my fabulous partner
Klarissa of the loud and proud MapBeks and we will be your hosts for the day!

Klarissa: Together with that we will also be launching our Mapa at Puno Mapping Campaign,
which we will know more about later! Thank you very much to our guests and partners today!
Youth Mappers Philippine Chapters - We have students from _____, ____, _____. ____.  And
we are supported by Philippine Science Highschool Zamboanga Region Chapter, and also
Guang Ming College! And specially our corporate sponsor Grab Map Operations!

Jaffy: So before we start there’s some rules and regulations for our webinar:
1. We will be putting everyone for now on mute for security purposes
2. If you are a newbie mapper kindly put your name as NEWBIE.Name so that we can
direct you respectively to the correct break out room.

Klarisa: So we have a loaded day infront of us! - (Present agenda slide)

So to cap things off may I call on Mx. Mikko Tamura from the Open Mapping Hub to give
us a brief introduction about what is OpenStreetMap:

Jaffy: Thank You very much Sir Mikko! Wow! Very interesting naman pala ng OpenStreetMap!
And I love it how we are able to be part of such a community of mappers and be able to
contribute on our own kahit students palang kami.

Klarissa: With out no further ado, May I call on our next speaker - He is------, Give a round of
applause to Honorable Mark Pacalioga! (Slide with Picture)

----Enter Mark

Jaffy: Maraming Salamat po Sir Mark! Napaka exciting at relevant naman po ng project na ito.
Isipin nyo na! May Cultural aspect, May open data kenesoo, tapos meron ka pang climate
change eme eme plurk plurk! Bonggang bongga diba. So just to clarify din, this project will
primarily be a drive to support the DYACC to host their cultural show. MapBeks will be
channeling support sa DYACC based on the mapping done. DYACC plants trees does the
show. Tapos we have our very powerful and youthful YouthMappers, Guang Ming College, at
Pisay ZRC to help map the area. Oh diba bonggang bongga!

Klarissa: So tama ka jan Jaffy! So there are two ways to help din 1. Directly donating through
DYACC tapos pangalawa, pwede naman sila mag map ng maayos and it gets converted into
trees!

Jaffy: Very good ka jan ateh! Malay mo in a couple of years meron ng MapBeks X
YouthMappersPH X Guang Ming College X Pisay ZRC Forest sa Dumingag!
Klarissa; O diba Kabog! So para sa ating expert and advanced mappers pwedeng pwede na po
kayo mag start mag map ng ating target area. We will be sharing the project task in the link.
Again for our newbie mappers kindly change your name po to NEWBIE. XXXX para maipasok
po namin kayo sa tamang breakout room.

SO here we go! (Break out room - Beginner Mappers)

Klarisa: Break out room 1: So to get the mapping started! May we call on our next speaker Ms.
Faye Andal a Regional Ambassador of YouthMappers to teach us how to map on
OpenStreetMap and how to use the HOT Tasking Manager … (Insert Feye Photo)

----Enter Feye

Jaffy: Ayan Welcome back sa lahat anu natuto na ba tayo paano mag mapa and welcome back
to our advance mappers din!

So we still have more time to map mamaya! We will remind everyone that the competition will
be a week long celebration so mula Aug 7 to Aug 12 yung scores nyo who will be counted.
Make sure lang po na you map well kasi kapag nadaanan at inayos yan ng validators ay di
makukuha or ma count.

Klarisa: Tama ka diyan Jaffy! But tet's get right to another segment of this program. May we call
on our third speaker from Grab. Let us all welcome Sir Vince del Mundo - Map Operations
Associate for Community Engagement.

Jaffy: Thank you very much Sir Vince del Mundo. Napaka interesting naman po ng inyong
presentation. But let's make this program a little livelier by answering some ice breaker
questions in the Kahoot app before we move on to the next half of the event. I'm sure you're all
excited since the winners will receive prizes. Best of luck!
