One day trip with no night spent One day trip with no night spent Conditions to the benefit of the Per Diem Policy:
Category 1 to 10 Others
Roots Group employee will only be entitled to the per diem if he spends the night out of station, otherwise a flat rate for US$ 75 or US$ 45 (depending on employee category) should be applied.
The day of departure is only counted, while the day of return is not.
Roots Group employee is not entitled and may not claim any telephone calls, or transportation within the country where the employee is conducting his business. The Per Diem should cover all such expenses.
Visiting Home Town: It should be noted that all those employees visiting their home town on business trips will be entitled for perdiem at the following rates
1.
Category 1 to 10 $ 100 .

For in-country business trips (this applies only to salesmen), the employee may claim the charge of a rented car plus running costs. Roots Group will accept to compensate such charge provided that it has been approved by the company manager in advance and provided that the leased car is the smallest category (medium and large categories of leased cars are not allowed for salesmen and will not be compensated).
