    In the middle of the 1970s, Samsung began investing in development and shipbuilding projects as
    well as electronic sector.

    STRATEGIC PLANNING OF SAMSUNG

    One of the top brands within the consumer electronics sector is Samsung. The business has been
    concentrating on the activities that have the most chance of producing fruitful outcomes. The R&D
    division of the business employees a wide range of strategies and tactics in response to the shifting
    demands of the world's consumers. The consumer needs are put into action at the period of strategy
    and planning. The evaluation of the international business environment, the identification of goals,
    and performance analysis are some of the specific acts that define the strategic formulation phase.

    The organisational structure of Samsung is created to encourage technological innovation across the
    company. The company’s strategies are centred on technological innovation, as evidenced by the
    quick advancement of mobile phones and other goods.

    It hires the employees based on the merit system. This promotes the company to reach their
    respective goals in time. It also maintain a better relationship with employees and other higher
    authority. With its unique leading Samsung made a brand image globally.

    CONTROLLING THE ORGANIZATTION

    Here the managers have tasks that include training the employees. Managers have the right to take
    hard decisions in tough times. They can also fire an employee when they are not satisfied in their
    work. Samsung has a record of managing hard times in past few years. Samsung also made the
    decision to hire additional engineers and managers to support their teams.

    PROBLEMS FACED BY SAMSUNG

    GALAXY NOTE 7 :

    After receiving complaints that some of its high end galaxy note 7 phones were catching fire
    Samsung permanently stopped producing them. Samsung lost the brand image and consumers trust
    due to this incident. The company shares dropped when announced the production of Note 7 is
    going to be stopped. This incidents of Note 7 made consumers to switch their products.

    WASHING MACHINES:

    According to US safety commission reports , Samsung washing machines are vibrating, exploding
    automatically and catching fire due to heavy load. Samsung was urged by the US Safety Commission
    to look into these issues. Samsung also provided discount coupons for the purchase of additional
    washing machines to its customers.

    SUGGESTIONS:

    In the sphere of technology, the quality assurance procedure is even more crucial. When a business
    employs talented and intelligent designers to develop goods, they shouldn't disregard the stages of
    the product life cycle. A component of product development should be the manufacturing process.
    The business should first await confirmation.
