II. RATIONALE
The City of Himamaylan will provide financial support assistance for Himamaylan City Boxers who will participate
in the San Carlos City Invitational Boxing Tournament scheduled on June 25, 2022 in San Carlos City, Negros
Occidental and defray expenses such as meals and snacks, subsistence allowance for training and other related
expenses.

OBJECTIVES:
1. To supports the participation of our boxers who will represent Himamaylan City in the San Carlos City Invitational
Boxing Tournament on June 25, 2022 as part of the highlights of their 62 nd Charter Day Celebration on July 1,
2022.
2. To enhance and develop the skills of selected Himamaylan City Boxers by training them and encouraging them to
join invitational boxing tournaments to gain more exposure and training experience.
3. To enjoin our Himamaylan City Boxers to proceed to the tournament venue a day before the scheduled tourney
so they will be well-rested and much prepared to join said boxing tournament in San Carlos City.
4. To become more productive and well-disciplined members of society.

II. RATIONALE
The City of Himamaylan will provide financial assistance for Himamaylan City Runners who will participate in the
Tanjay City LGU 2022 HALF MARATHON to be held in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental on July 10, 2022 and defray
expenses such as meals and snacks and other related expenses.

OBJECTIVES:
5. To sponsor the participation of selected runners who will represent the Himamaylan City in the said Tanjay City
LGU 2022 Half Marathon to be held on July 10, 2022 as part of Tanjay City Annual Fiesta.
6. To enhance and develop the skills of selected Himamaylan City Runners by training them and encouraging them
to join running events such as Invitational Marathons and gain more exposure and training experience.
7. To enjoin our Himamaylan City Runners to proceed to the tournament venue a day before the tournament to
make them well-rested and much prepared to join the Marathon in Tanjay City.
8. To become more productive and well-disciplined members of society.

in the ABANSE NEGRENSE Governor “Bong” Lacson Age Group Chess Championship and defray expenses such as
meals and snacks and other related expenses.

9. To sponsor the participation of selected Chess Players who will represent the Himamaylan City in the said
Tournament.
10. To enhance and develop the skills of selected Himamaylan City Chess Players by training them and encouraging
them to join chess events and gain more exposure and training experience.
