D. memorize the different kinds of notes and rests on the beat of a song.

c. After playing the video, name the different notes and rests that you draw

in each measure.

Topic: Rhythm – Rhythmic Pattern and Time Signature

At the end of the lesson, you should be able to:


A. use the bar line to indicate groupings of beats.
B. combine the different kinds of notes and rests using the musical staff.
C. identify the 2/4, ¾, and 4/4-time signatures.
D. combine notes and rest to in 2/4, ¾, and 4/4-time signatures; and
E. conduct the 2/4, ¾, and 4/4-time signatures.
