    VISCOLAM PS 202 is a solvent-free, water-based dispersion of a non-ionic polyurethane associative thickener. It allows formulating gloss and semi-gloss waterborne varnishes for brush and roller application with a nearly Newtonian rheology. VISCOLAM PS 202 gives excellent flow and leveling properties while maintaining high gloss and stability over a wide pH range. It works best with smaller particle size binders and its thickening effect can be reduced by certain surfactants and water-soluble co-solvents. VISCOLAM PS 202 should be stored between 10-35°C and has a 12 month shelf life when properly stored.
