Before you start:
- Read instructions before beginning.
- I suggest preparing your fabric exactly how you will care for the finished gar-
ment- meaning if you're going to machine wash and dry, do it now! It will prevent
any shrinkage, color bleeding, and get any nasty chemicals off!
- When printing the pattern, make sure scale is set to 'none' or 'actual size'. Take
your time matching and taping. Carefully measure the 2”x2”/4cm x4cm squares
on page A1 to make sure it printed correctly (even if it is off by 1/8” it will change
your fit dramatically!)
- These are NO TRIM pages... just line up
edge of paper to dark grey guide line.
Here is a video in the P4P FB group if you need
more help: Video Link
- You are free to sell products made from the
pattern. I would LOVE for you to cite that it was
a ‘Patterns for Pirates' pattern in your listing!
- As always, back stitch when starting and
ending a seam. Serge or zig zag finish all seams.
-All seam allowances are 1/2” unless otherwise stated.

Want to see this pattern on all shapes and sizes? Here is the album in the P4P FB
Group: Album Link and a Round Up Blog Post Here.

Need help mashing sizes? Here is a blog post on How to Mash Sizes.

Size chart: All in inches. Hip-widest part, usually across the booty. This shirt is a
loose fit through bust, waist and hip. The tulip options will give more swing and feel
looser than the plain option.

*Tip* If your child is a mix of sizes, I recommend taking their overall height and
using that length, and using their hip size for overall width. As you trace or cut
your pieces keep all lengths their overall height size and all widths to their hip size.
