    Islamic architecture is an Islamic way of building as determined by sharia


    law, without limitation on the place and function of the building, but rather
    its Islamic character in relation to the design of forms and decorations. This
    definition includes all types of buildings, not just monuments or religious
    buildings

    Islamic residence is a house and its occupants who become an

    inseparable unit, because the character of the inhabitants will affect the
    character of the space that is materialized. Islamic housing also functions as
    a means of fostering a sakinah family, mawadah warahmah. Islamic
    residence is a private house that is conducive to the practice of submitting
    to God

    The ideal criteria for Islamic residential space include:

    (a) The character of safe and comfortable as a function of residence,


    (b) Conditions that are always clean, healthy and holy,
    (c) Support the implementation of main tasks: knowledge and worship,
    (d) Support the safeguarding of private parts, secrets and privacy of
    individuals / families,
    (e) Support the protection of the rights of others / neighbors,
    (f) Support the readiness to receive and respect guests,
    (g) Supports the atmosphere of remembering Allah,
    (h) Support the implementation of all Islamic charity activities at home.

    providing room dividers, especially in the interior of the living room, or by
    placing the main entrance not perpendicular to the living room so that the
    householder is protected by one's genitals and privacy (That’s mean “hijab”
    (barier or divider)

    the occupants' activities cannot be

    residents do not feel disturbed by
